Located in the upscale part of Tokyo. Food, customer service is top notch. If there is anything you need the will make sure to help you get it. I would recommend this hotel to any one who wants to have a memorable trip to Japan
We came here after staying a week at the Andaz Tokyo that was truly amazing and we where kind of expecting a let down. We received a suite using a suite upgrade, very nice! There was no let down, this is still a fantastic hotel with amazing service and a very good location. Very highly recommended!!
We needed a hotel in Roppongi for our last 2 nights in Japan and the Grand Hyatt is well located and have very good amenities. Nothing special as far as the hotel room - not particularly small or large but it was well appointed, quiet and in good shape. Good and extensive hotel breakfast and we took advantage of the hotel's Oak Bar with friends. We were in the area for nightlife and we were in an excellent location with great transport links.
We stay in Grand Hyatt for 4 nights. The room was spacious, also the bathroom. It is located near the station, conected to the mori mall. We can find Shiba Park behind the hotel. And it is near Asahi TV, we were once having an experience of wacthing one of the band performing live show at their stage near asahi tv. At night they have very pretty illumination. We can see tokyo sky tree at night. Also so near to the tokyo observatory deck on mori mall. It is very nice neighborhood. Lawson, Shake Shack, McD, Tsutaya Starbucks are within walking distance. We enjoy our stay in this hotel very much.
What a wonderful stay we just had at the Grand Hyatt - the experience was flawless from airport pick up to drop off - it made our first trip to Tokyo as husband-wife one of our most memorable trips ever. First off, the location is unbeaten at Roppongi Hills as it’s an area that is not too hectic in Tokyo and has a distinct neighbourhood feel. Close to a subway station and a mall complex, it was just perfect especially when you can’t be bothered to commute elsewhere for a quick meal that’s not room service during your jetlagged state. The facilities are also top notch - we had a wonderful spa experience at Nagomi and the French toast at The French Kitchen as part of the buffet breakfast offering was simply delish. But in the end, it was about the service - warm, professional, courteous, efficient, polite - there are not enough adjectives to describe but the key phrase here is ‘wonderfully consistent.’ From the concierge to the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant staff, it was brilliant service across the board. It is not inexpensive but you truly get what you pay for. Arigato goizamasu Grand Hyatt for an amazing stay.
It was a bad bad experience. The rooms was small and the acoustics of the room was bad. I can hear people showering at 1 am and their bed creaking as well. Overall, given the price, it was a ball judgement call and will never stay with Hyatt again!
One of the best locations! Everything you need is within walking distance. The metro is close by (do not take taxis). The staff is very helpful and will even help guide you with transportation, food venues, etc. The rooms are modern and comfortable.
With the exception of a little bit of evening noise in my area of the hotel (somewhat expected given this was a stay around Christmas and New Year), I had an excellent experience at the Grand Hyatt. The rooms and facilities were spacious by Tokyo standards, my room was cleaned promptly every single day despite different times that I was out of the room, room service always arrived on time as promised, laundry service was perfect, check in and out was amazingly efficient given the busy time of the year, the two on site restaurants we ate at were lovely, and above all else, the concierge desk was one of the best I've ever worked with anywhere in the world. I would recommend a stay here to anyone, especially a busy traveler who needs help with their itinerary.
I would not stay in this hotel again. Nice property with amazing spa but small rooms, terrible club level and club concierges the worst. Don't bother with them. The location is good in Rappongi. Service is not reflected in the prices.
The first time I had my hotel room changed while I was out and about was at Grand Hyatt Tokyo. I had my doubts on how it's going to be done and to my surprise, everything was transported from one room to another without missing a thing. Everything was in tact and in place as the way I've left it. The staff are friendly and eager to assist even before you ask for it. Definitely will come back in the near future.
