Great location. Close to train stations, restaurants, shopping. It was quiet even tho it is in a busy area. Hotel staff is polite, helpful. The rooms are comfortable

Great location and very clean. Only down side is that rooms are very small

Excellent hotel close (5 minute walk) to Shinjuku train station on east side. Friendly, helpful staff speaks English. Two banks of elevators serving floor levels in two groups make the elevator ride quicker. Lobby on the eighth floor is not a big inconvenience. Love Gojira!

I have no complaints about the hotel at all. Its amazing to see the godzilla head up close, especially when it lights up and roars. Quite the spectacle for kids and adults alike. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.

It’s close to a lot of stuff in shinjuku. Rooms are quite small. WiFi is a poor at best. Even with the mobile hotspot included it’s very meh. Did I mention the rooms are very small?

Easy to find, great staff, nice location. Room size was a little small. Great bathroom though

Godzilla statue and show (note for people not familiar, it is not same standard as a DisneyWorld show, but still special enough). A/c in rooms can go down to 18C (other hotels Japan can only go to 19C). Also a/c very quiet. Room and en suite is a fair size (for Japan)

Great location and service. Very close to the Shinjuku Train station. Excellent breakfast buffet. Cons: Sizes of the rooms are very small. With two big suitcases in the room, it is even difficult to stand in the room.

Hotel is beautiful and clean. Had an amazing shower and heated toilet

Great location and the kids loved the Godzilla! The rooms were a good size where I was able to open up both our checked bags. Highly recommend with ample dining options in surrounding area and the free use of pocket WiFi was a bonus!

It's only popular because of the stupid Godzila. This hotel should otherwise be classified as "ghett-low." Absolutely awful. My room stank like cigarettes - even though I asked for a non-smoking room, they gave me a smoking room. In addition, the rooms are so small you can't open your suitcase. People would just leave their trash in the hallways in plastic garbage bags. Guests have to put stickers on there door if they won't their rooms cleaned. My room was close to the head of Godzilla, you could hear it breathing and making noise all day, and the windows were filthy. This hotel is an awful disgusting tourist trap.

The breakfast was pretty good...probably the most positive thing about Hotel Gracery. Location was good...right in the heart of Shinjuku and a short 5-minute walk from the train station. I can’t recommend this hotel, though, because of how insanely small the average rooms are...and none of the staff seemed quite pleasant. The staff weren’t necessarily welcoming or friendly. In regards to the room itself, it’s the exact size of my master bedroom closet. Great size for a closet, highly inadequate for a room. I suppose when I booked it, it would’ve said the dimensions of room, but I didn’t make note at the time. We got an average priced room...at around $200/night...there’s almost no room to walk. The small bed is smashed up against the corner of the room...bed is only accessible from one side. There barely room for luggage, and the what would be considered the closet in the room is simply a 2.5 inch peg sticking out of the wall, so that you can hang up some clothes. If you enjoy being able to stretch your arms out and being able to touch all the walls, then this hotel is perfect. If enjoy any bit of space, then I’d recommend finding a different hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was the room was kind of small, but that's just my general thought about room sizes in Japan. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. Check-in and out were extremely fast and efficient. My favorite thing about the hotel is probably the location - it's very conveniently close to many food places and a short distance walk from the Shinjuku station.

Best hotel in the area. Everything seemed brand new and the staff was so nice! Can’t beat the location.

The hotel is beautifully situated in fun Shinjuku, with easy access to the rest of Tokyo. The staff and amenities were lovely. Did you know you needed a foot massager and humidifier? And for an inexpensive fee, you can have your luggage sent ahead to the airport so you needn't lug in on the NEX train. The free wifi phone that provides a hotspot across Tokyo was very useful. I was able to easily navigate streets, subways, and train with it. Even the single rooms are bigger than the usual Japanese hotel spaces, with good-sized bathrooms and a lovely soaking tub. They really are singles, and you will have to enjoy intimacy in and out of the bed if you book a single for two people. Yes, the beds and pillows are the harder Japanese style, but I found them comfortable, and you can order a Western pillow brought up if you like. I enjoyed Hotel Gracery Shinjuku and will happily return.

Room size little bigger than Japan standard. Staff willing to help. Bathroom floor rather slippery, oily (carpet also need deep clean). Breakfast at bonsolute also a let down.
