Would recommend. We stayed here for the first 3 days of our family trip. Rooms were great and had lovely views over Tokyo. The cute pajamas they gave you were super comfy. Area was right in the thick of things. Only negative, check-in was a bit messy(you use machines rather than working with humans which was a bit of a pain point and not the warmest greeting.) you sort of want a human touch after a 10 hour flight. However the staff was always eager to please.

Great stay! This is located in the heart of Shinjuku. There’s a train station about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. For the location, we found it incredibly easy to just walk out and stumble upon something for dinner (also highly recommend doing this! Such good food.) in the building, there’s also a market style restaurant group - we had this one night for dinner and found it really good. Make sure you translate the menu with Google Translate app for the photos though or you might be eating something more exotic then you prefer. (Whale, etc.) The rooms felt spacious and we loved the touch of the Spotify playlist the hotel came up with, definitely check it out during your stay!

First trip to Japan was made amazing by staying here! The views from our room were just incredible. You've got the viewing deck here so check that off your list! We paid for breakfast at restaurant two mornings and that was perfect. The baked eggs are a must try! All pastries were great and so much fresh fruit. Not much is open early so 7 am is awesome option to have. Hotel is close to Shinjuku station so coming in from train with luggage was a quick walk. Staff is soooooo nice and helpful. We had a fancy dinner at Bellustar in the same tower and that was amazing. Highly recommend for one night! Shower had great water pressure and the beds were super comfy. I would stay here again 100%

Great staff. As always Japan has fantastic service! Room was nice and clean. Great hotel! The area around it is super packed with restaurants and shops. So close to alot of the attractions. It’s seriously close to the Godzilla hotel, the 3D cat attraction. Very close to shinjuku stations. At nights, many many tourists. It gets super packed around the area. You have to be in this area at least once in your life. Very vibrant! If you’re older, you won’t like it that much. If you’re younger, you’ll def love the area!

Great hotel, reasonable price for what you get!

Excellent hotel, incredible view, great location, very clean and a great use of space. Air conditioning worked very well. Did not use laundry facilities, but it was nice to know that they were available (and you can check which machines are in use via the TV, great feature!). Will gladly stay again.

Our room was very nice. Bedding was delightful. We arrived early. Our room wasn’t ready. The invited us to the movie theater, pop corn and a drink right in the hotel building until our room was ready. I suggest you choose a room on the other side of the building from the trains.

Great location for anyone looking to stay in the Shinjuku area. Very convenient with plenty of dining options or doing a snack run. Pleasant staff. Will definitely book at Hotel Groove again.

Staff was incredible upon checking in. Our room was nicely appointed and the view was breathtaking (29th floor). The hotel has all the usual amenities including a gelato bar. There is a Starbucks downstairs and plenty of food and beer establishments on the first level. Shogun Burger has delicious wagyu burgers and cold beer. There is also a small pub/cafe across the street for late night cold ones. Vibrant area! So many places to eat!!! You will love this area and this hotel.

Amazing hotel, located in the Center of Shinjuku. A lot of dining options nearby and Starbucks located inside the hotel, walkable to transit. Def will stay here again

Amazing hotel. New. Clean. Great views. Access to nearby gym for a fee. Amazing location. Though just a few blocks away is the red light district—not unsafe just a little wild. Bus runs directly from hotel to Haneda.

Hotel Groove was a wonderful hotel. It suited the needs of our family of four very well. We had the large King Garden Suite where we could spread out and relax at the end of the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The washing machine in the room was an added bonus that was really helpful for us. We would recommend Hotel Groove for being close to transport links and for being in a great location close to shopping and eating.
