There is a disconnect between the grand and clean lobby area and the rooms. Even though there were few customers during these COVID times, they did not accommodate my request for a double bed. The room was of the pretty typical business hotel quality, worn down after many years of use and passably clean. I found hairs still in the bathroom and dust bunnies by the bed. There is no gym or amenities you can use (pool is closed). The view was great though, the location convenient, and can’t beat the price at $80 a night.
Location is great. 5 minute walk from the station.
I have stayed at Shinagawa prince several times in the past and I enjoy returning and staying here. I love the convenience and closeness of Shinagawa Station and the many amenities it has to offer.
