This was a great modern hotel. The room was tiny but the public onsen and location made it a great stay. Would come back again.
Hotel is great and i hope that it maintains its quality. It is a good find for the price i got it for and i would stay there again. Some of the negatives are that the location is far from some train stations. If there is rain during your stay then your walk will be even more of a task. If you don't mind walking the closest station would be the shinjuku goenmae (which is a subway station so JR pass is a no go). Otherwise is about a 18 min walk to Shinjuku Station and doing that walk everyday to and from the hotel does get old. If you taxi then plan to bring plenty of money for your trip. The onsen is also nice but it tends to be on the smaller side and if there is a whole lot of people in there then it can be cramped. The work around is to find a time when its not too crowded but that also gets tasking when you are tried from a long day. Side note* This is a good beginner onsen for people who are not used to public baths but that being said please follow the rules. My stay was filled with folks breaking the rules and it does effect your relaxing time in the onsen and also it is unsanitary. Please don't video or take pictures in the onsen! No matter how much you want to show it off just don't. Please wash yourself first before going into the bath, it is a cleanliness issue for others in the bath. This is a public bath and not a swimming pool, please don't splash around innthe bath. Don't bring your wash cloth into the bath. Please follow the rules.
perfect! i will come back again! just one thing is that location may not be close to the station but for me is fine.
Everything was lovely. The staff was extremely helpful. The onsen was small but very nice. The rooftop hot tub had an amazing view. The rooms were small but had everything you would need. Very cute and clean and Japanese. Loved it!
