We stayed at this hotel for three nights and couldn't wait to leave. There were weird people walking the halls constantly. Breakfast was terrible, sausage links could not be cut with a knife. The pillows on the bed were very small and there were stains on the walls and ceilings. Our room was never cleaned the whole time we were there. Our bed wasn't made and we had to go to the front desk for clean towels every day. The rooms are dark and dated, and front desk staff acted as if they hated being there. The police were frisking someone in the parking lot on our first night there so we could not wait to get out of there. We won't be back.
My wife and I stayed there for on overnight on a long road trip. Hotel was clean, staff where friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, even had pancakes. Push a button on the pancake machine and 1 to 2 minutes later you have two great pancakes. And like all Quality Inns, sleep comfort is amazing.
We have stayed for two nights for a business meeting in St Louis. The experience with this hotel was not so very good. The rooms and entire hotel are very dated and got a strong smell. The staff has been friendly and helpful but it doesn't really make up for the bad quality of the place. Being located directly at the interstate it is pretty noisy in the rooms.
No microwave no refrigerator unimpressive staff scary neighborhood. Staff ignored me failed to serve me and never stopped irritating me my entire check in 10 pm Jan 11th. And I'm a choice hotels privilege Platinum Elite member.
My friend and I were met at the desk by a pleasant and helpful staff member and even though we arrived before check in time she found us a room that was ready. The room provided was clean and nicely arranged for our purposes. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.
My complaint has to do with the duvet cover and the television and that there is no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. The television kept turning itself off which was annoying. But what was disgusting was the fact that when I got under the covers, there were spots of dried blood on the duvet cover. Although there were two beds in the room, there was no excuse for that. Oh, I almost forgot, the soap holder in the shower looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. It was so nasty and yes I do have photos.
Needed a night in the St Louis area and chose this Quality Inn. The property was conveniently located next to one of the access highways in to the city putting us into downtown St Louis in about 20 minutes. The hotel itself was clean and had some nice amenities such as pool and fitness room. Our room was also clean and comfortable,my only complaint would have to be the fact that we didn't have a microwave or mini fridge,we find it convenient to have these for keeping and reheating leftovers or preparing a simple meal. The provided breakfast was good though and a special mention to the hardworking lady who sets up the morning meal and keeps thing moving smoothly, she was so nice! Overall a good experience!
This room was very clean...priced good...but the people hanging around it are sketchy. There was a strong odor of marijuana in front of the hotel..and also when we got off the elevator on the 4th floor. Front desk staff was rude when we entered the hotel more than once.....We stayed on a Friday and Saturday...bike club members all around...Breakfast was very crowded....lots of people.
This hotel fell very short on Quality. What made my stay so uncomfortable, was when I plugged in the room coffee maker to brew a fresh cup of coffee...out comes a ROACH :-( I was done after that, NEED I say more? I so wanted to change hotels but everything was sold out because of a huge conference that was there in town at the time which is how/why I ended up at this hotel to begin with. One of the bath towels was dirty, it had make-up on it and the lotion had been used already and the bathroom drains was so slow in both rooms I had while at this hotel...It was NOT QUALITY and definitely my worst Choice-Hotels stay to date. I stay at Choice-Hotels all over the U.S. my daughter is a professional dancer so we are on the road every other weekend from January through July. This hotel needs to step up its game. After that I did not eat the food at this hotel and did not want to sleep in the bed, I was way too paranoid. I reported it to the front desk and right away they did move my room. But it still did not remove the fact out of my head and my daughters that a ROACH was all over that first room!!
I rated this 4 because of the value of this hotel. The room did need soon updating but was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we heard very little noise despite the hotel been fully booked. We stayed 7 nights. The staff from front desk, housekeeping to maintenance were very friendly. The hot breakfast is extensive with an egg and meat choice everyday. We have booked again in November.
