The room was pretty clean except for the bottom of the bathroom toilet. The bed was comfortable and I felt secure in the room being on a solo trip. The check in was smooth and the reception was kind. It’s not a fancy hotel but it was fine for me.

No shampoo. Really? It has been awhile since I stayed at a Motel 6. I realize they strive to be the most affordable lodgings. But this is the first time I have stayed someplace that didn't have shampoo in the room. There were two bars of soap, towels, a nice TV, clean linens, and it was clean. But no shampoo. Have we come to a time where Motel 6 cannot afford to provide a little shampoo?

Yes, the room was very “beat up”. It had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom wall was severely damaged at the bottom to the point there was a hole in it. There were stains on the sheets 😳. Vending machine in the lobby was empty. We will NOT be staying at the motel again.
