I always try to stay at AmericInn properties as my business around the State has taken me everywhere and I can rely on the quality I get with this chain. My recent stay in St. Cloud was no different and in fact was a cut above many of the others I've stayed at. The Front Desk recognized my Elite status immediately and was able to provide me with an upgrade! When I used the Jacuzzi I was blown away at how clean the water was and NO chlorine smell. I later learned that they used a salt solution, which I loved. Room was great, breakfast was great - overall and very good stay.

Made the reservation the night before asked for a lower room because there is no elevator. Didn't have a problem checked in with a very friendly staff room was clean, quiet and comfy. Breakfast was hot and filling,

When I went in the room it looked like the floor hadn't been vacuumed and I overlooked it because I was tired and the bed seemed clean. So I climbed in my bed and sat up against the bedboard to watch TV and there right next to my head was a big wad of green gum stuck on the bed board. That was it...out of the bed - called the front desk and asked for a room with a different house-keeper - they moved me down the hall three rooms - same housekeeper. Not staying there again. ewwwww

My first clue for a not so great experience at this hotel should have been the employee gas grill in plain sight next to the front door. When we came to the front desk it took quite awhile before the front desk person came to the front desk as apparently was back in the office area. There was no welcome even though we are Americinn reward members. She checked us in and said it would be a quiet room but there is a truck stop right next door. She gave us our key cards and told us we could use the end door for entry. Well we got our stuff and tried to get in the door but our cards would not work. We had to walk the length of the building through the front door and she said they should work in our room door even though the outside door didn't work. Guess what, another trip to the front desk. She proceeded to tell me that they make up the cards earlier in the day and by the time the afternoon checkins come in they no longer work. This happen every day. I asked her why they don't change their system and do it at check in she blamed it on technology. This front desk gal did not even apologize for my coming to the desk 3 times but wanted to convince me it was not their fault. We finally got to our room and it seemed okay. I had forgotten a toothbrush and went down to the front desk to get one. Instead of just getting me a toothbrush and sending me on my way, she proceeded to tell me how it would "stink" if she didn't have a chance to brush her teeth every night. Right before we went to be we found used dental floss in the garbage can form the previous guest and also black hairs in the shower. As it was very late and we wanted to sleep we didn't go to the front desk but looked between the sheets to see if they were clean. I we had not had a non-refundable room we would have driven down a few blocks to The Holiday Inn Express. The noise from the semi trucks leaving all night was terrible. The next morning the breakfast hot food was all dried up and hard and the older lady taking care of this area did not speak even though our paths crossed many times. This is very unlike the Americinn hotels. I was sent a online email customer satisfaction survey with Kathy Hage General Manager of the hotel name on the bottom and voiced some of my concerns and issues. She didn't bother sending me a reply or call we apologizing for my unhappy stay so it looks like the attitude flows down from the top. Do yourselves a favor and stay at The Holiday Inn express down the street. It looks like a beautiful place just driving down the street! I'm not sure if I will stay in another Americinn again!

The AmericInn Lodge and Suites in St. Cloud was a great stay. Passing through the area for business and arrived very late. The front desk held our reservation and made sure everything was ready for our arrival even though we were checking in very late. Rooms were very clean and modern with super comfortable beds and sheets. They are not skipping on comfort here. The lobby has a cool ski/hunting lodge vibe with a big fireplace and arm chairs. Breakfast was great with hot and cold items, and served later than most similar hotels, which was nice considering our late night arrival. Thanks for the great stay!

My husband and I stayed here one night during our cross country driving trip. The property met all our basic requirements: quiet location, clean room, comfortable beds, nice linens & plenty of towels, plus the usual self-serve breakfast for these chain properties. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, to us and our companion dog and we feel we received good value for the reasonable room rate. The only reason we didn't award 5 stars was owing to a very noisy faucet and slow draining sink basin.

Very friendly and professional staff and efficient in all facets of our stay. Breakfast was more than ample and the people very co-operative with fulfilling our requests. Thank you very much and God bless.

We had a family reunion in the area and a number of people that came from outside the area. We used a number of rooms and everyone was very satisfied with the accommodations, the friendly service and the food. This building was very quiet even though it is right next to the interstate and a number of young baseball players were staying for the evening before a tournament. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and many options for food and adult beverages were within walking distance. We will stay again when in the area as well as recommend it to friends and family traveling that direction.

We picked this hotel because of outstanding reviews it got and convenience of the location which is right off 94. Great reviews and pictures are not justifying the reality and the rate. It's a bit above average 2 star hotel nothing more. Hotel is clean and very well maintained but a bit outdated. Night staff is not very professional and not adequately trained. It took us 20 minutes to check in becouse the lady at the front desk was taking phone booking and struggling with using the computer system. In response to my frustrated look, all she did was make a rude gesture suggesting that the customer on the phone talked too much. Room was on the small side but very clean. The bathroom is tiny. Mattres and pillows are just OK. Refrigerator was making annoying whistling noise and when I went down to see if anything can be done no one was at the front desk. Ended up sleeping with the TV on to drown out the noise. Pool and jacuzzi is definitely helpful after a day of driving. Pool is big and clean but cold. Big plus that they are keeping pool open til midnight. The only reason I am giving this hotel 4 starts is because of morning staff. During breakfast lady who works in the kitchen went above and beyond for my family . She helped me to prepare waffles for my kids and was super friendly. She made us feel so welcomed. Front desk personal was extremely friendly too. Breakfast itself was nothing special just an average hotel food which are eggs and sausage , waffles, cereals.

We stayed i night July 7th. Check in was fast. They offer free coffee all day in the lobby. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning offered a wide variety of hot and cold items. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Staff is very friendly. They treat you like family.
