We stayed at the Kelly Inn this past Saturday and, unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. We had two rooms reserved somehow when I only reserved one. but when we arrived, neither of them were ready. There was no communication or heads-up beforehand, which left us standing around in the lobby with two toddlers while we were trying to get settled for a birthday party. The staff didn’t seem concerned about the inconvenience or acknowledge how stressful that situation was. The pool area was also extremely strong with chlorine—so strong that it was uncomfortable to stay in there for long. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and usually enjoy our visits, but it feels like the staff just doesn’t care about customers anymore. The lack of service and communication is really upsetting, especially since this has been a favorite spot for our family. I genuinely hope management takes these concerns seriously, because we’d like to keep coming here—but it’s getting harder to justify when basic customer care seems to be slipping.

We had a very nice stay at The Kelly Inn. The hotel was great about communicating with us regarding check in and all the amenities. The room appeared to be newly remodeled with new carpet and furniture. Comfortable and spacious room.

Was informed the day before our stay that the hot tub was down for maintenance and that the restaurant was closed for remodeling. To late at that point to change our reservation and those where the 2 amenities as to why we chose to stay there. Night staff was also not friendly when they told us we could not be out of our room after 10 in the pool area. On the web site it said adult pool time 10-midnight and when we ask she said we were wrong and needed to return to our room. As we and other guest had family they were with for the holiday and the offered no where else where we could gather. It was not a pleasant stay.

Check in clerk was rude and disheveled. The room had dirty walls and ceilings, and only one loudly functioning a/c unit. My “suite” had a 20” tv barely visible from The bed. The bar, restaurant, pool, and hotub are all closed. When I remarked that the hotels own website didn’t reflect any of these closures, the rude clerk said “well that a corporate run website” No apologies for inconvenience. Then we were told “there will be a lunch bag with a granola bar or a muffin or whatever on the counter in the morning. There is no breakfast”

The toilet was broken. The chain in the cistern wasn’t attached properly. The iron chord wouldn’t stay extended making it difficult and a bit dangerous to use. Also the bathroom could’ve been cleaner as there was hair in the floor. Staff are always friendly and rooms generally clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
