My friends and I rented a room so we could watch the Timberwolves playoff game from the pool / hot tub area. I called not once but TWICE the previous day (Sunday May 26) prior to booking to make sure the game would be on with sound. The ONLY reason we got this room was to watch the game - we all live IN SAINT CLOUD. We were there for a half hour before finding out the TV had been broken since Friday May 24. I asked for a refund since I did not use the room and booked under false pretenses, but there was no manager available. I absolutely want a refund and will never recommend this hotel if I don’t receive one.

The hotel was fine but the two women at the front desk didn’t know what they were doing at check-in. They kept telling me my card wasn’t working yet I received five large charges on two different cards. When I showed them what they had done they blew it off like it was no big deal and I’d “get the money back in a few days”. Not impressed with the staff.

Restaurant was understaffed and not enough food for the buffet that was offered. Children took over the hot tub pools and were throwing balls across the pools and jumping in and out of hot tub and pool, splashing and yelling. Hard for adults to relax in the hot tub or have infants in pools.

We had a two bed suite with a pullout couch. Loud party happening outside our room which is out of hotel control. We pulled thr couch out to an unmade stained mattress. Just wasn’t happy that bed was not made and then waited an additional hour and half to get bed sheets and extra blanket.

I have made 4 phone calls as I was billed more than I should have been. Each call resulting in them saying someone will call me back. NOBODY calls back!!! I even spoke to Brad who said he was the manager on site...he said he would look into it and call me back...guess how that went! I booked through Expedia and asked to be on a floor near my friends they changed my room type and rate without notifying me! Worst customer service ever!

Upon arrival, room appeared nice. No tv remote. Had to go get one from front desk. No cups for bathroom. Room not what we requested. Too many little kids in the whirlpool so didn’t get to use it. You have to ask at front desk for a non slip mat for the shower. Nothing in room as far as channel guide, restaurants in area. Advertised as room service. That was not true. The location is not attractive at all. We won’t be staying there again.
