Love the hotel!! Nice staff! I will request a room ay the back of the hotel..theres more privacy at the back of hotel, less traffic and can open room curtain and people cant see in...

There are four hotels in the same area--I have tried them all. This is one of the less expensive ones. Main complaint is that the wifi was down. I feel like wifi is a major amenity and their lack of urgency at getting it repaired implies cheapness or cluelessness. It would have been handy but I did not need it this time so I did not care that much. You'll pay less to stay here than for example, the Courtyard Marriott, because Sleep Inn doesn't have much of a lobby, and has no pool or workout room. The room was clean and the bed was good. It met my needs and is safe and the people were nice.

This is the second time I stay at this hotel. The rooms are nice, however this trip when you first walked in there was an odor to the room. It smelled like old and musky. The entire staff during both visits were wonderful!! This trip I went to the continental breakfast, not a good idea. The scrambled eggs both days were a little cold and so was the hot water for my tea. Those are my only complaints.

comfy bed and great shower. clean and friendly. what else can you ask for. enjoyed our stay.

A basic, no frills hotel. My room was newly remodeled. Everything was fresh and new. The only downside to this hotel is the location adjacent to railroad tracks. A train went by about one per hour throughout the night. A low rumbling noise that lasts only a couple minutes but wasn't loud enough to wake me from sleep. Otherwise I thought a good value for the price.

Clean, affordable, staff was great, breakfast was good - overall a great place for a short stay on a budget.

We stayed for a short weekend away while we did all the Lincoln sites. The locations wasn't great for doing the touristy stuff, but it was near plenty of restaurants and stores, which made dinner easy. The continental breakfast was better than average with some hot items (eggs, sausage, waffles). We did notice several bugs in the hotel throughout our stay. It didn't necessarily seem to be an infestation; it's a building in the middle of Illinois and we have bugs here.

Room was small but very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a mini-frig and microwave in the room. Breakfast was good for a budget hotel; eggs & sausage plus waffle maker and other assorted breakfast items, which they kept stocked all morning. All the basic necessities were there and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Location is adjacent to more shopping than you could possibly imagine, plus many restaurants, and located just off the highway. I will stay again!

nice to get a smoking room. hotel was clean. staff were great. room a little on the small side - lamp shade not in good shape - but overall - nice place. good breakfast. a little pricey with no amenities. close to shopping.

Over all not a bad place. Everything is in walking distance. Little to be desired about the hallways being cleaned and vaccumed. Coffee, breakfast, orange juice were fresh on time in the morning. I would stay there again tho.

All in all it was a good stay. Room clean, staff courteous, amenities were good. Will recommend

Room was clean, hotel was clean, breakfast n coffee was fresh. Location was ok. The room was extremely small. With a queen bed in it barely had room to talk around. Unfortunately with all the other aspects being good that one will keep me away from it.

We usually stay at this hotel when we go to Spfld, but we were disappointed this stay. We assume after the tornado is when they made the changes, the rooms were very small, no tubs in the 3 rooms we had. It made it difficult to give a 1 & 2 yr old a bath. There were 5 adults & 8 kids ages 1-13, so we took 3 of the only 4 tables there was for the breakfast. The staff was rude when they told our table of kids to get up so a couple could sit down, instead of asking us to move them, and then she denied that she was rude and what she said when we confronted her about it. There is no pool and with the price you pay you would think they would offer a pool. The location is very good. I would recommend this hotel for singles or a couple.

Room was clean, staff kind, breakfast was the ordinary. We liked everything but the cost. There are two other hotels in the immediate area which I would want to compare for cost before staying here again. But it was nice...

the sleep inn was a basic ordinary hotel. not fancy but not a dump. they offered a great breakfast and spotless rooms.

The hotel was in a good location. Very close to shopping and resturants. The only drawback is that it is very close to some train tracks and the noise was a bid annoying.
