Ugly. Dirty. Run down. Breakfast if muffin and coffee.

Friendly staff, rooms clean, decent breakfast. My go-to cheapie in SLO.

I got a great deal on orbitz for this location. The ratings looked pretty good so I got it. It's right on the other side of the freeway from Downtown SLO. Location is decent. Not much parking though but the staff was kind enough to let me park next to the check-in lobby. It has a nice looking small pool but I wasn't able to use it. The room was nice, clean and comfy. Room seems recently renovated. Wifi was good, tv was a flat screen. Room has a mini frig and microwave. It's a great place to sleep for a low price.

We came up for a bachelorette party. We needed a room with 3 beds for us.. the room had 3 beds and a table. The bathroom was fair. The room was nothing special but it suited our needs. Our tv was new but only had a few channels that were working. The staff was nice and fast at check in. The hotel is in a good location..

The hotel was ok.. I could see they were remodeling the rooms. Our room was old and a little worn down. We had a random stick on top of the closet. Also, something was on the sheets. Outside had a smoking area which was dirty and had some plungers just sitting outside. The staff was very nice and check In was fast. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt . They were doing some up keep on this place.

Disappointing stay and reviews were not accurate. We were on a quick visit to SLO (San Luis Obispo) to visit Cal Poly and needed somewhere close and cheap for one night. This place needs a lot of TLC. Breakfast consisted of muffins cut into quarters and basic cereal, oj and coffee. The pool was empty, not that we were going to use it, but it was an eyesore full of debris and mud. The place in one word was decent. If you're looking for something for the night and won't hurt your wallet either.

Okay place if you are looking for a cheap bed near the campus. Pool was empty except for a few inches of mud. Cereal, milk, OJ, coffee and some pasteries were available in the tiny office in the morning, but I would go elsewhere for a real breakefast. Staff were very pleasant.

Quiet despite being next to the freeway. Strong wifi. Bed just okay - cover was a little dirty. Room painted over but very sloppy job. Bathroom remodeled and nice. "Breakfast" was very minimal: cereal, OJ and piece of muffin. OK for a short stay.

Location was great. Simple breakfast in the morning a plus. For the price I guess I can't ask for any more. Bed was very comfortable. There was a funny smell in the room though which reminded me of wet dog smell. I had sprayed perfume in the room but the smell just stayed. We only spent the night and was so tired so was not all that fussed.

We were only there for one night, as a quick stop while traveling down south for the holiday, so I can't speak to the surrounding areas or location or any of that. But the person who checked us in was extremely courteous, kind, and helpful, the motel was clean, and the beds were surprisingly comfy. While we didn't use it for our short stay, I also appreciated the fridge and microwave. Overall, it was all that we needed and an excellent option for a reasonable price.

Undersized parking lot, lazy employee will close the window and pretend not to hear you if you start asking where to park since their lot is full.

If your expectations are that this is a cheap hotel, then this one is fine.

This is a good place to stay at over all . Good price , great location and most importantly clean .

Not much to say, need to bear in mind that price is the main selling point. Room clean, everything there, that is the main thing, so if you need somewhere to sleep, at a good price, it's ideal. One outstanding disappointment was the "breakfast" basically in a tiny area of the reception with only a couple of couches to take it on seating around 6 persons max, and with a very poor choice of items. But hey, just look at the price. The presumed owner was friendly and helpful when spoken to, but does not initiate any pleasantries or greetings so you may initially get the wrong impression. A female receptionist, perhaps a family member, better.

needed afew minor maintence issus but over all i stay there again. room was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled

Went to Solvang and Hurst Castle and Grovers Beach. Staff and service excellent.

Right off the freeway and only a few blocks from downtown San Luis Obispo! Close to some fast food restaurants, friendly staff and decent rooms for your money.

Just one night stop over from San Francisco to LA.

We came to visit Calpoly SLO and the hotel is in a great location with decent continental breakfast . Except at the end found a cigarette butt in the draw of the nightstand when we were leaving and realized where the weird smell in the room for the last two days came from.

Dirty and sticky floors.... old outdated smelly furniture. Never again will I stay at this inn...
