We needed to leave early by 2 days due to illness, and the hotel front desk said early check out was ok, we would be refunded, "all was taken care of!" However, they didn't actually refund us. It's not a big deal if they were upfront about it, but they said we had to be out of the room by noon, the flight was not until evening, and my husband was sick. Had we known we would not be refunded, we would have liked to fully utilize the room we paid for.

I sent in an email with all this info but just got a canned “thanks for your email response “ which was a big bummer. I arrival was met with construction all across the front of the building. We couldn’t even get the front doors open because they seemed to be locked with no instructions on where to go or how to enter the facility. Finally, someone behind the counter came over and let us in the front door and rudely told us that we had to enter on the side. I think I might’ve mentioned that it would be a good idea to have a sign on the door so people wouldn’t know that. Then as we’re checking in, we had requested a room that was near the Jacuzzi because that was something we were looking forward to. Of course, the pool area was closed due to construction that was not made known to us until we were basically already checked in. I asked if there would be some compensation for these problems and the gentleman replied no. It would have been nice to know that before I confirmed the room the room itself was fine. Everything was clean. As I checked out the next day, I expressed my concern about the issues with the property and she mentioned that I could probably get some points back that I had used for this stay. That seemed fair, I thought so I sent in the review and like I mentioned above received the canned reply with no apologies, no compensation. Big bummer….

Staff was friendly. Check-in was quick. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Modern style decor. We could hear doors slamming from the other rooms when someone entered/exited their room. Not bad just noticeable. Lighting in the room was a bit odd. The lamps provided were more like reading lamps. Nice breakfast provided. Hot items and a good variety available. We would stay here again when visiting the area.
