Our family of four was really disappointed with our stay. First, the cleanliness of the place (and especially the bathroom) is really poor. Fixtures and finishes were dirty/grimy. They have clearly not had anyone do a deep cleaning or more than a surficial cleaning of this property. Lots of rust on plumbing fixtures. Our second issue is that the upstairs rental unit is incredibly loud. There was a family with a very young child above us and it was pretty unbearable. We are not overly sensitive to sound but this was atrocious. I spoke with the family and they were very gracious. We had young kids at one point so I understand the challenge and don't blame them one bit. The place has car-decking style floors and they are unforgiving, acoustically.I would generally overlook all of these issues and never issue a poor review. However, I brought up the issues and the responses were not satisfactory. The photos paint an image of a quant beach adjacent bungalow but really it's just a run down quasi-basement apartment. There was new towels so that was one plus!
