I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this hotel, it was quiet and loved that it was super close, walking distance to so many resturants. Although, I feel like the hotel can add minor upgrades such as better smell inside rooms and a tiny bit more clean. Other than that it was very nice and enjoyable.
The location is great if you need/want to be in Old Town. The property itself needs updating. The room was overpriced over labor day weekend for what it was. The room was outdated, smelled, and the shower was in such bad shape that the showerhead wouldn't even turn off. We had to have maintenance come by to fix it. The pool was small and the property itself had so many stairs I dont think anyone with ADA concerns or the elderly should stay here. We checked out a day early because it didn't meet our expectations for the price we were paying.
Charming.
front desk very nice and welcoming. area and rooms clean. safe parking.
The sliding door in bathroom tough to open and close. The walls are thin I could hear my neighbors all night. The bathroom needs a stronger fan. The couch was dirty/stained.
Everything was great
Staff very friendly. Quiet area.
It's in the middle of everything
When we first arrived the room we got smelled like mildew so we called front office to change rooms, they were nice enough to do it right away. Second room smelled better but overall the beds were uncomfortable, the carpet was old, and the water was barely hot. The rooms are definitely outdated. Oh and our remote to the tv didn’t work.
The property is beautiful (loved the landscaping) and you can't beat the location right in the heart of old town! The food at the onsite restaurant is delicious especially the breakfast. THE DOWN SIDE: please wait a bit to visit post COVID! Our room was not ready until almost 8pm due to housekeeping problems and the room "not being ready". I have 3 year old twins who were long over due for a nap and the whole day was ruined due to lack of timely check in. I get it that they might have been short staffed but they were telling every single guest the same thing...maybe they overbooked? Who knows! It was disappointing enough to make me re-think ever booking this place again.
I loved how It was walking distance to the best restaurants in old town.
