great experience! The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful with any questions!

This should be clearly stated. This hotel's only saving grace is its location.

The front desk girl was great! Other than that, it was terrible! I guess you get what you pay for. Since I was just gonna be there to get a couple of hours sleep, not an huge deal 3 mins from car rental return and airport. But, DO NOT STAY THERE OTHERWISE. I couldn't even get them to print off a boarding pass, it was just ickey! The best thing they had going for it was the gal that was so helpful as to where to eat, she tried to be accommodating, but with nothing to work with, that was impossible. Oh, and construction in every corner. The contential breakfast wasnt happening, even if it was, I would pass.

Rented a room last evening. Was only able to remain in the roomorning less than 2 hours before the mold in the room made my wife sick. Management essentially said, "too bad, you are not getting a refund".

Clean rooms great pillows Hotel needs updates Parking is limited Staff loud in hallway early mornings. .NOT COOL will not be returning

The hotel was extremely clean, which is my greatest requirement. The room was small, but it served all my needs. I was within walking distance to accessing all of my needs, including a Seven Eleven for snacks and toiletries, superb restaurants, transportation, and only a few blocks from the Bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made my stay feel safe and comfortable. As a single woman traveling alone, the hotel and its location were perfect for me! I will stay there again!!

The walls are so very, very thin. Nice accommodation, no room to walk around though. I couldn't sleep, so I was going to go for a walk - the entire floors 3 & 4 were pitch black. The staff rude and unhelpful. So extremely disappointing seeing as how Little Italy is right there and so full of life, and the Bay just beautiful at sunset. Had it been nicer accommodations, I'd have stayed longer.

I fly in from Iraq for two weeks. After 24 hours on the plane, it was a wonderful feeling walking into my hotel room. The hotel Manager was awesome!

First, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures on the website are nothing like the actual hotel. We're not sure why they use the word "suite" because the room is nothing more than a hotel room, however, there is a microwave and small refrigerator, which were nice to have. The ice "bucket" was a plastic tub that ice cream comes in. The room didn't even have a clock. On a positive note. It is very cheap considering the prices of San Diego hotels. They do indeed offer free parking and the location is great; less than a block from Little Italy.

Toilet ran all night, no outlets or desk in the rooms. Directly under the flight path of planes landing and taking off. Not a good place to try to get some sleep.

This property has its own parking lot which is a plus but not guaranteed it's on a first come basis. It is close to shops and restaurants that are within walking distance. It is close to interstate 5 with easy access north and sound bound. It is close to the airport less than 2 miles. It is a short distance by car to Coronado or you can walk to the harbor and take a ferry across. The beds and pillows are comfy. The building is secure with inside room access which was another plus. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great place an excellent location , very centre!, and close to airport, downtown, airport and many attraction s in and around the city....

The room was clean but tiny. The AC on low would come on periodically, one moment you are hot, then cold, then hot again... Not a fan of anyone wanting to scan my drivers license. next time I'll look more closely to see if the place where I am staying require my personal information to be scanned. The big positive was being so close to little Italy, this area of San Diego is a must to visit.

It's close to the nice area in little Italy. But it's not clean at all. The rug was sticky. There was stuff on it. It smelled funny. The ac was mildewed. It was WAY overpriced.

If you like black mold and a terrible smell then this is the place for you. The pictures they have online are NOTHING like the room you will be staying in. The Windows are covered with black mold they wouldn't even stay open they slammed right down. The elevator was very tiny it's more of a one person at a time elevator and the flood is sinking in so that was scary. We tried to take the stairs but noticed there was a sign that said "emergency use only" we still took the stairs to see that they were completely rusted and broken and ready to just fall off the building any minute. There was also dust clogged in the air vents. Rust on the shower just over all very unsanitary I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Especially people with children. This place is disgusting they haven't had a health inspector since May of 2013. I made sure to give the health department a call as well.

great staff and location excellent cleanliness and pet allowed

The door leading to the rooms did not lock. There was a horrible smell in the hallways. It was very seedy and grotesque. People would bang on the door at odd hours into the night.

NOISY. BESIDES THAT ALL WAS OKAY. THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

Nice hotel located in a very nice area, many things to do within walking distance. Hotel has had some improvements and offers low cost comfort, considering San Diego is an expensive town to visit.

The hotel room was noisy due to traffic on the main road. The hotel smelled bad and the carpets were dirty. It is a very basic room, it was clean and safe enough for my stay but had I been able to change hotels, I would have. It is definitely overpriced for the low quality.
