    "Arriving at Saman Hotel, it felt very relaxing and beautiful. Hotel staff was very friendly and cleaning staff was constantly cleaning around us. They provided us with welcome drinks and gave our kids cute cups as well. They made sure to spray our shoes and provided us with masks and hand sanitizer. Mask wearing was heavily enforced- almost to a fault since everyone made sure to keep atleast 6 ft of distance in common, open air areas. We were traveling with kids in late December/early January. The pool was really cold and I didn't see anyone in the pool at all. I would recommend they splurge for a heated pool. Also, since its not directly on the beach, it was a bit of a hassle to lug our beach stuff back and forth. There is also a curfew in effect- it was a bit disappointing not being near a beach or pool one could use (way too breezy and cold). Lastly, since we were traveling with a family, it would have been nice to have access to the kitchenette (with atleast a microwave and kitchen utensils, plates available.) The restaurant food wasn't the best and our only option was to order out using the Komida app (highly recommend to download before visiting las Terrenas). Overall, this hotel is better suited for business travelers or tourists without kids, comfortable enough to explore the area since the beach is not walking distance."…"

    "This is my second visit to this place after going 4 years ago. I can say that the hotel is still very good, the facilities, food and staff maintain their quality in all the services they offer. The atmosphere, the ambient music is designed to have a good time as a couple. The staff is very helpful and attentive to guests' needs. I want to mention the security guard of the beach who found my cell phone that was lost. Given the situation of the pandemic there are many measures: Taking the temperature at the entrance of the hotel, in restaurants and disinfectant gel. The rooms are well kept and good. I just want to say that the lighting in the hallways of the rooms needs to be improved a bit. The food was very good, the cooks and waiters are very attentive. I hope to come back soon.
