Not too impressed by hotel. Breakfast was not very impressive. Not happy that hotel allowed outside parking.

Restaurant was close for renivation. So breakfast was way too simple. Everything else was good

Very courteous and accomadating...really tranquil gated community in the historic chinatown next to historic waterfront...

Good hotel across the street from the Amtrak station and just a couple of blocks from old town.

Rooms where very outdated and old. Felt dirty. Location was the only good thing about this hotel.

Convenience location, close to train station, golden one stadium.

The property was a bit older and dated, it definitely needs a renovation. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. We left a very expensive jacket in the room. Not only did they let us know it was there they mailed it back to us quickly. Very much appreciated! Thank you so very much!

This place is old. Furnishing are old. Curtains are old with holes Old tile in the bathroom. No cups for coffee maker. Smelled good though. We stayed there for a concert and the price was raised for that event.

Very congested location and we were assigned what was likely the noisiest room in the place. That said, we left the room fan on 'constant fan' all night and the white noise went a long way towards canceling noise from outside. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was respectable--good coffee and bagels, nice bacon.

The Vagabond Inn was definitely okay. The price is really good, but you get what you pay for! Room was outdated with worn furniture, fixtures, etc. It did have a nice size TV with TONS of channels which was good. The bathroom counter had visible stains on it that would not wash off; it was just old. The major disappointment for me was the “fitness center” that was advertised. The picture on the listing was a bit deceiving. It included a set of dumbbells (up to 25 lbs.), a bench and three very old cardio machines. I had to get very creative to get a real workout in. It was also clear that the “fitness center” had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. The bed in the room was comfortable and the room was just fine. The breakfast was what I would have expected and what is common for a hotel. If you are looking for something basic (with no bells and whistles) during your stay in Sacramento, this place is for you!

We had to leave. Our non smoking room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. Did not stay long enough to rate anything else about the Vagabond Inn.

Nice pool. great location close to convention center and old town. Surprisingly quiet given its proximity to interstate.

Across the street from Amtrak, around the corner from Old Town. Good restaurant on site, former Denny's years ago. Highly maintained, clean property though wifi toward the East end of the building is useless.
