VERY convenient for patients of UCD Hospital. Whole staff was courteous & helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who needs the services of the hospital.
close to medical center
The room definitely needed some renovation, dirty bath tub and sheets, overall pretty dirty bathroom.
It was good overall
This was, with out a doubt, the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in. The staff was polite and the lobby was nice, but there was otherwise little positive about this place. The halls and stairwells were dirty. Our room had what looked like a Laffy Taffy or similar ground into the carpet between the beds along with used dental floss. I can't believe Marriott tolerates this as they usually are reliable for cleanliness and quality. It appears that have a semi captive clientele being located by the medical center there. The facility looks like it was built in the 70's and neglected ever since. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Friendly staff and clean. The parking was on site and the area the hotel is in feels safe.
Amazing stay
I’ve stayed here many times. It’s close to UCDavis Hospital. My last couple visits it’s been noisy and poor amenities. The ice machines have been not working for over 2 months. Also parking is an issue, sometimes they charge for parking and sometimes they don’t. I’m sorry but stick to one. Also this time the charge $50 for incidentals and said I would get it back in a few days if I didn’t have any. I’ve been staying here for a year and that was the first time I heard that one.
I enjoyed my stay here. The pool is open. It’s close to everywhere we wanted to go to and also far from the traffic of downtown.
The hotel is updated and conveniently close to the medical center. The front desk has been modified to allow social distancing and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The suite at first glance was spacious and having a near full kitchen was an added convenience. However we discovered old reheated food in the microwave and the pull out couch had dirty linen and a large earring left inside. The noise level on a Sunday was high with loud music and lots of stomping coming from neighbors. The bistro food is good, but overpriced and the staff were not consistently wearing their masks properly, nor did they handle food with gloves. The pool was also filthy as we found large clumps of hair floating around and the water color was murky. Not likely to stay here again.
I didn't think they should charge for parking. It should be embedded in the purchase price
My niece had heart surgery at UC Davis Hospital Sacramento & it was walking distance to the hospital. We didn’t have to drive anywhere. The area was safe & clean.
Hot tub wasn't working nor the latte machine. But, life will go on. :)
No net flix on tv. We could not connect to net flix on the Television in our room.
