The place was clean, soft beds, people in the front desk, friendly. I will stay back at Best Western El Rancho Palacio when travel back to Roswell, NM

The comfortable bed and being in a town with so much history

Very convenient for what we were doing in Roswell.

Conveniently located to many stores and restaurants. Safe, quiet, clean premises. Staff friendly, helpful. Good breakfast: coffee, juices, variety of muffins, toast, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt. Only downside were the beds--a little on the lumpy side but not a big deal for me, as my wife has some back trouble. Overall, a good, relatively inexpensive place to stay.

Motel has good eye appeal but rooms were older than exterior appearance. Air conditioning was load and blew on bed location.

Clean hotel, great placement. The parking lot and hotel is well placed off the highway. Breakfast is more than just toast and cereal, eggs and biscuits.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and close to just about everything.

The rooms where nice and clean. The air conditioner had some mustiness to it. We could hear a lot of outside noise.

Sketchy town, breakfast was good though. Not much to do besides the alien stuff. Wish I wouldn't have stayed overnight. More of a day trip place

This place was great to stay. Super comfy and quiet.

Staff accommodating, room clean, quiet. Good location.

The room was okay, it was hot in there, the air wasn't on and it took a while to get it to cool down. The towels for drying after showering need replacing, they are very thin. The free breakfast wasn't that great, the coffee was cold and there wasn't much of anything available. I wound up going to a restaurant for coffee and food. I will not stay there next time I have to go.

I stayed in room 289. The shower did not work at all, it looked like the plumbing was very poorly done. I was able to take a bath but that was it. Also the wifi did not reach the room at all. The night guy when I checked acted like I was bothering him and the cleaning staff knocked on my door 3 times the next morning before 9:30 am. Breakfast was ok, about what you would expect. I did bring up the shower and wifi issues when I checked out, but was not offered any compensation. I won't stay here again, spend the extra $15 and stay across the street at the Sally Port.

Hotel is in a great location and my employees stated the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable . The staff was helpful and we would use this hotel again.

The staff was very Friend but the roo. Was kinda tight and awkwardlyrics aranged

I'm glad we had the chance to stay here, everything was great, the staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean.

This hotel was very roomy, comfortable and clean. I was pleasantly suprised for the price

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just the standard continental breakfast which was not really anything special. The rooms were clean and already had the air conditioning on which was nice because it was 100 degrees when we checked in. Close to the downtown of Roswell and lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Staff was welcoming and checkin was fast. Got a great room right by the lobby on the first floor. Room was small, but immaculate, had minifridge and microwave, new bathroom fixtures, great shower/waterpressure. Breakfast was best buffet I have had at a free breakfast: everything hot, fresh, and tasty. Biscuits and gravy (heavenly), cheese omelets, fruit, yummy fried potatoes, etc. Breakfast area was kept spotless and refilled. Even though we stayed during the "Alien fest" , even warned by desk staff that it could be a little crazy that night, the only sounds were those of fireworks closeby and not a problem. Very good experience. Great place to stay after a day at Carlsbad cavern state park.

Found this hotel while searching on my phone. It is right on Main Street in Roswell, NM. There are several places to eat and drink within short walking distances to the hotel. I had booked a King bed and it was very soft. Also, this is a two story hotel with no elevators, only stairs. The upper walkway was also kind of dark and not very well lit. I don't know if this is a recent trend in hotels but they only give you two sets of towels, no extra bath towels are available in the room. I have long hair and wash it every night. If you're traveling alone it is okay, however if you're traveling with someone else you have to call down and request the extra towels. Sometimes in these smaller hotels they only have one person staffing the office and if you check in late at night they aren't able to bring the towels to your room. You have to take a walk down to the front desk to pick them up. Just a minor annoyance but thought it was worth mentioning. Overall the staff were extremely friendly and there were no issues checking in or out of the hotel. Comfy enough for an overnight stay.
