This is an older hotel with kind staff. Let the shower run for a minute or two for hot water. Great for a night or two.
The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was small, but adequate. Clean and cozy.
The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable! The staff was friendly and efficient. It’s a motel, so you park directly in front of your door. That’s a plus for me. Very small room. No coffee maker with coffee/tea in the room which seems like a big miss and a simple fix. Very limited breakfast in the lobby, (prepackaged rolls, fruit, coffee/tea). Motel configuration means you’re walking outside for a cup of coffee. The location is both good and bad. It’s close to everything you want to see in Roswell, but that also means it’s in a loud area. Lots of traffic noise. If you’re sensitive to sound, you won’t get a good night’s sleep. If your not, the comfort of the bed will have you sleeping like a baby. Overall I’d recommend the Roswell Inn. The most important factors to me are a comfortable bed and a clean room, but then I’m just there to sleep and shower. If you’re looking for a hotel getaway, this is probably not the place.
Felt safe and secure there.
This was cute enough, very basic, with a desk, bed, night stand, refrigerator and microwave. Small bathroom, no plug for bathtub. No lamp on desk or beside table. I liked it for what I needed in business travel and the price was great!
Nice, clean place to stay with a friendly staff! Super value for the money! Only wish was that there would have been a coffee maker in the room.
Good value for money
Great place to stay. I was worried about the older photos, but they truly are old. The photos of the renovated rooms and bathrooms are totally accurate. Very clean and new inside, simple and straightforward check in process. The AC is new and blows ice cold all night. We absolutely would stay here again.
Rooms were clean and updated. The hotel is close to restaurants and the alien attractions. Staff is friendly.
Clean, modern, lots of shampoo and lotion, comfortable bed.
The room had been freshly painted & it had all new furniture. It was comfortable & did just fine for a quick overnight stay. The staff was super nice. The negatives were the bed blanket was very old & the white top sheet was a dingy white (grayish) & the tub & sink drains had a rust ring around them. I was a bit nervous about parking right off the street, but we parked right in front of our room & it was well lit.
Don’t let appearance fool you. This is a “ year’s gone by” layout of buildings but the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was especially impressive. With the price for a room it will be my go to place when traveling through.
It was close to everything. Whataburger was right across the street. Open 24 hrs. Los Cerritos was right next door. Farleys was up the road and excellent.
The prooerty had a draw with the whole alien thing. The room was very small, but the bed waa comfy, the linens were clean and the non smoking room was truly non smoking.
Great lighting, clean tile floor and very conveniently located. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Up until this Econo lodge in Lake Charles, we have loved them and enjoyed stayed there. They have been clean and had nice hardwood floors. This one had hair on the sheets, hair in the shower and what appeared to be throw up on the mattress pad cover. The sheets also had cigarette holes in them and the carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. I was disgusted. Rhoda Kratz
It was ok. The room was overpriced, in my opinion. The beds were comfortable, but the room was very small and the door didn't have a second latch. The towels were small, and they didn't provide us with much in the way of toiletries. But, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pros: very comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean bathroom. Cons: small room, no 2nd latch, small towels, not enough shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc.
