It would seem I may have had a "remodeled" room. It had new carpet, but the furniture was sort of beat up and the walls were pretty dirty. The room seemed a little too small for the furniture in it, probably the reason for the tiny night stands, but it worked well enough. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was mostly clean. But, the one thing that made my stay regrettable was all the road noise. My room was at the front of the hotel, so I could hear all of the traffic all night. Usually, in that case, I put the A/C on high and wash out the road noise, but that wasn't possible here. The A/C was too quiet.
The hotel was very nice, they are remodeling some floors but it didn't affect our stay at all. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. It's location is great, convenient to all the local attractions. Would highly recommend
I liked this room because it utilized some things I had seen before in my travels. First, when I walked into my room for the first time the tv turned on and had a greeting with my name. Unless the room was haunted, and it could very well be, I’ve never seen a tv that turned on with motion. Second, the TVs in my room were both smart TVs so I was able to sign into my Netflix acct to catch up on some shows that I’m behind. Also, make sure to sign out of your Netflix account on departure. Third, I like the fact that they also included a radio in the room. I like having background noise while working on my reports so that was nice. Extra points if had been Bluetooth capable. That staff were very polite, no complaints there. The warm cookies on check in were a nice touch. The lobby was nice as well. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.
A number of us attending a reunion at NMMI stayed here. Great location, close to the school, the civic center and The Cattle Baron restaurant. Comfortable room. Nice breakfast. They had everything you could want. The breakfast area made for a great meeting area, and they allowed us to utilize it for a little get together one evening free of charge.
This is a very clean hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Ample parking. I will stay here anytime I am in Roswell. We arrived two hours early and asked for early check-in. The front desk was very accommodating. Our cousin who had a reservation at another hotel and had traveled all night from Georgia asked for early check in and was denied. He was told check in is three o'clock. He walked out and went to another hotel. This was about one o'clock. I believe that this is not unusual, so kudos to Fairfield Inn, Roswell.
I often stay here on my way to Santa Fe. They usually upgrade me which I appreciate. The suite is nice size. Bed very comfortable. Always clean with a very friendly staff who are always helpful. The breakfast is OK.
Parking was well lit. Hotel was clean with friendly staff. The breakfast was served as announced including hot food such as chees omelots, sausage, waffles, etc. Noise was at a minimum with no traffic noise.
Great hotel, wonderful helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. Suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, beds very comfortable, updated . Spent 2 nights there, can't say enough about how nice it was. Central location. Good premium channels. 2 tv's in the room, loved that.
Hotel was fine and very clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was ok as expected, the only negative was that air condition was a bit noisy so we turned it off. Overall comfortable stay - walking distance from centre and museum.
I was headed home on a road trip and stayed here one night on 07/06/17. This hotel is NICE. I highly recommend it and I will return. Everything was perfect, from check-in to check-out. The room was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. I didn't eat the free breakfast because I left around 4 a.m. Total for one night, one person, with No discount for AAA or AARP was $104.88. I always ask for AAA discount. Answer: No! Pricey, but for some reason nearly all the hotels in town were booked solid. I came in without a reservation.
