Broken down and disgusting in room. Leaks in bathroom door was broken. Room was dirty with dust and heater poor. A lot of noise from outside guest. Would not recommend this room to anyone.
Without reading any other reviews, I can tell you unequivocally that this is the worst hotel that I have stayed at in 55 years of traveling!!! My first clue should have been the almost empty parking lot in a hotel area that had most of the parking lots full. Secondly, they were remodeling the lobby and the clerk was no where to be seen. After hollering twice, the workman went to fetch her. Long story short, I had interrupted her wrapping a gift. She had heard me, butt was too busy.to respond to my calls. Third, The room was run down (except for the sink and TV, which looked new). Bed was uncomfortable - you could feel the coil springs through the top. Fourth, and the kicker, Breakfast was 6-9. Went in at 6:30. No coffee, no bread, no juice or anything else. And again, no one in sight. DON'T GO THERE!!!
My parents checked in a few days before me & already had issues the first night. Apparently, finding out the second night after they had already changed rooms b.c the first crew didnt know, their sockets were on sensors. The sockets would turn off in the middle of the night until movement. My Dad has a CPap machine for sleep apnea so they had to run an extension cord. When I checked in, the front desk was empty. A guy came in, not after smoking a cigarette if you catch my drift, & asked if checking in. I said yes, gave him my name, & he just started typing a way. Didnt say a thing, put a piece of paper & pen on the counter. Ok, so I filled it out....he is still typing/clicking away. Puts the keys on the counter, still not a peep. Ok, so I am in room ###? I then asked for blankets, my nephew was going to stay with my parents/needed them. He gave us clean sheets but when asked for an actual blanket, he said they didnt have any. Weird. They found a chicken nugget in the couch with crumbs ALL over, including animal crackers. My room had dust ALL over the heater vets, it was noticeably white. There were cob webs on the lamp, a hair hanging from bathroom faucet, & it leaked. My parents keys stopped working twice & mine once. We caught someone up front for their but I couldnt find anyone to do mine. There was NEVER anyone at the desk. You had to wait or wonder off to catch someone.
We were highly dissatisfied with this property. The lobby is being remodeled, unfinished, dirty, wires protruding from the walls, & building materials piled around. The hallway to the rooms was filthy with construction dust, PVC & wood along the walls, artwork not hanging but leaning against the walls. In our room -- 115 -- the carpeting hadn't been vacuumed, drywall dust was on the carpet, the bathroom tub had black soap scum, mildew on the showerhead, the bathroom floor & walls were dirty, & the toilet didn't flush correctly -- filled to the rim, then slowly went down. After plugging a CPAP into the nightstand lamp, the power went out on the headboard side of the room. The power remained on elsewhere in the room. The heating/cooling vent area was filthy. Because we checked in rather late on our 1st night, we just coped. In the morning, after showering, I went to the front desk & voiced our complaints. Because we wouldn't be back until evening, I asked to be moved to a room that was clean, with a toilet that flushed, & with full electrical power. Unfortunately, the same problem with the power going out happened in the second room -- 108. When we checked out, I gave some advice to the woman at the front desk, warning her that the building probably had electrical code violations; having the power go out could be a health risk to persons needing CPAP during the night or on oxygen; and that a city inspector would probably shut the place down until the remodeling is complete, the plumbing fixed & the electrical problems solved..We have stayed at Super 8's across the country, but have never experienced anything like this. Hopefully this location will be up to the usual Super 8 standards in the near future.
Horrible hotel , Do not stay here. Everything is not working, dirty, filthy. Do not stay here run away. Worst nightmare experience ever.
This motel was under reconstruction. No lobby, no floor. Very hard bed, stained bedspread, lukewarm water.
I didnt mind that they were under construction, I ignored the mess and banging. What I didnt like was the front desk clerk was never at the desk, making you feel like your standing in the lobby of a abandoned hotel. This was not a one time thing, this was every time I went to the desk. as well as other guests. The room was nasty, I had dried food on my blanket, I asked for a new, clean one and they had no extra blankets, the lady told me she would have to wash it and return it to me. 2 hours later she just ended up getting one from another room. Pay attention people, when house keeping is cleaning the rooms, there is not one clean sheet, pillow case or blanket on the cart.. I repeat.. NOT ONE clean piece of linen. I dont know what kin of establishment their running over there but this is NOT the kind of hotel you bring your family to.
Stayed one night while traveling cross country with family and dogs. Room was great for what we needed!!
They were remodeling the place so I took that into consideration. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. I waited a good hour before someone showed up. I finally get checked into my room to find the plumbing was messed up. The toilet wouldn’t flush nor did my heat work in the room (and it was very cold). I requested to be moved the second day I was there but pickings were slim due to construction. If you’re looking for quick and cheap, in & out then go head but I won’t be staying again.
A very surly attendant; dirty hallway, dirty tables in breakfast area, dirty entrynarea. The place gives Super 8s a very bad name!
