What truly makes this property special is the staff. The front desk team was excellent welcoming, helpful, and professional. Housekeeping was wonderful and clearly takes pride in their work, and the breakfast attendant was kind, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with each morning. The people working at this hotel are exceptional and represent Wyndham very well.
However, the property itself does not reflect the quality of the staff or the Wyndham brand. The hotel is extremely dated and in clear need of significant renovation and modernization. With proper investment and updates, this property has the potential to be a very nice hotel, but in its current condition it feels tired and overdue for improvement.
One area that absolutely must be addressed is the coffee and coffee machine. The coffee was, without exaggeration, some of the worst coffee I have ever had in a hotel, and the machine itself appears very old and in need of replacement. This is a small but very noticeable detail that greatly impacts the guest experience.
Wyndham is very fortunate to have such a strong team of employees at this location. They are doing an excellent job with what they have. Now the company needs to support them by investing in the property, updating the facilities, and bringing the hotel up to the standard that both the staff and guests deserve.
With renovations and upgrades, this property could be greatly improved. The people are already excellent now the building needs to match people.
