Holiday Inn Express Rochester - Greece

I loved that the hotel rooms, foyer and dining room where newly renovated. I liked the hot breakfast; there was a great combination of foods. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They forgot to renovate the gross elevator and 70s hall ways with stains on the carpet. The windows stink because you can hear the traffic from route 104. I should have reserved a room on the side of the hotel that wasn't facing route 104. The cleaning crew are lazy. There was hair in the sink and in the tub. They need to be fired. The scenery from the hotel windows is bad however, there're no hotels in Greece NY that do not overlook a busy road or parking lot.

an average hotel, looks good from the outside but a little outdated in the inside

The staff was super nice. Their complimentary hot breakfast beats all the other ones I've had. No complaints.

The customer service was extremely rude and incredibly unhelpful. We were going there the night of our wedding and leaving for our honeymoon the next day and we wanted to dress the room up bit the staff was so rude and wouldn't let us check in before the wedding to save time later. Eventually a friend told US to go online and change our reservation and the staff person didn't ever tell us it was that simple.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. It is a great location for anything in Greece or Northwest Rochester.

The staff was very nice and accomodating. your employee in the breakfast area was the best. great customer service and personality. House keeper polite and friendly.

I chose this hotel for two reasons other than price. First, it was in a great location for what I needed to do on this trip. Second, I had read other reviews and seen that the manager had responded to many of the reviews, vowing to address the issues the customers made. I thought that anyone who takes the job that seriously is going to make sure I have a good stay, and I was right. Very friendly staff, ready to help at any time. I made good use of the little business center room, printing out maps and things that I needed. The free breakfast is better than many I've had, but still just okay. The mattress on the bed seemed sort of old, but I slept very well every night I was there. I would have liked to know ahead of time that there was a fridge and microwave in the room, and I probably could have called to find that out, but I was pleasantly surprised to find them. All in all, a nice place to stay on a budget, especially if you are looking for a central location to the west side of Rochester.

Staff was great, rooms were clean and comfy, surprisingly soundproof, great complimentary hot breakfasts. Perfect for the business traveler. I have had several hotel/motel stays recently. This was the best this year to date - even among 5-stars. Will definitely go there again.

They do not have two double queen size beds in the hotel room. The beds are not that comfortable and even the bedding sets are not comfy.

Staying at Holiday Inn Express, during my vacation, was great and overly satisfied..... Thank you to all the staff, whom, made our stay or visit, pleasurable.......GOD BLESS. :-)

For the purposes of this trip the hotel provided all that was needed; clean room with adequate furnishings, free breakfast, and convenient location. The amenities were appropriate for a hotel in this price range.

The Hotel is situated in an area near an expressway and several nice restaurants which made things very convient for us. The Hotel was very clean and had all the amenities we look for plus a hot breakfest in the morning. We would definately go back !

Wifi, breakfast, gym all included. Convenient location allows for easy access to commercial/restaurants and close to freeway.

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff was very kind and helpful. There is only one elevator and it is slow. Free breakfast surpassed expectations but too crowded on the weekend. Overall positive experience.

We picked this hotel because it had great reviews. Although it did have a good location, being close to major roads and alot of restaurants, we had to deal with alot of road noise thru the night. The room was clean but smaller than we were used to, especially the bathroom, which was like a closet. The type of air conditioning they used would cycle the fan on and off, adding to the other noise making it hard to sleep. Other than the runny fake eggs the breakfast offered a good assortment of items.

Our room was very clean, comfortable and promptly taken care of each day. The care givers were very pleasant.

Went out hours away from home for a family reunion and booked a suite just for my child and I to enjoy the get away but was told I could not check in because I was under 21 but yet I was told it was ok to check in on my own. So my parents had to come all the way to the hotel just to stay with me and ruin their vacation. My suite that I booked for my child and I ended up being a crowded two bed hotel room where I lost out on a portion of my money because a two bedroom plan jane hotel is cheaper then a king suite. Will never do that again!!
