The hotel was wonderful! Service and food were perfect. It's a small resort with all the amenities. I would ask for a high level room. The lower level rooms are musty, this bothered my allergies, and they moved us. The pool tiles, need to be fixed. Many of them were loose and two people we were with got cut by them. The restaurants were good including the buffet. We would definitely recommend it to friends.

Everything was truly wonderful. From the staff to the food to the rooms the cleanliness of the entire resort. Entertainment was also great but... the beach was washed away 3 weeks before we got there. This is a huge reason why we picked this resort. It was super sad.

The hotel property is nice. The pool area and rooms are very nice. The spa was wonderful. The beach is nonexistent. Unfortunately, the beach has eroded leaving a very small area of sand. The water near the resort is not very clear. The breakfast and lunch buffet and the poolside restaurants are very good. The other restaurants - for evening dining were terrible. We did not eat more than a bite of a single item ordered at the seafood restaurant and barely ate the very underwhelming items in the Japanese restaurant. Overall, it was a good trip because we dined outside the resort 2/4 nights we stayed. Other than the restaurants and lack of beachfront area, the resort is very nice.

Had a pleasant stay during at Secrets Capri over Christmas 2016. Hotel is in really good shape, reasonably quite but pictures posted by hotel showing beach are very outdated. There precious little beach left due to years of erosion and quite a bit tree trunks/stumps left in the waters edge so beach experience leaves plenty to be desired. However, any irritation (whether beach related or other) is swept away by the extremely friendly, happy and helpful staff -- I have know idea were they find their employees but they are extraordinary. Food is very good for an all-inclusive resort.

Staff was very welcoming and service was excellent. There was always something to do if you wished but no pressure if you wanted to just relax. Every restaurant had wonderful food selections and the quality was impressive.

This is our third visit to a Secrets Resort and we enjoyed our stay. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful and the food is good. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. Dulce and Anaurora from reception were very helpful and accommodating. Israel around the pool area, with a big smile, helped us every day with the umbrellas. Eduardo from Cactus Grill, very professional and friendly. Antonio and Victor took excellent care of us while dining at Portofino. Roberto, Omar and Eliveth from the buffet, provided us with friendly, fast and excellent service. We had a lot of fun with Cesar from entertainment with all the activities. Our hibachi dinner was delicious and fun thanks to Alberto. Everything was very good. However, the highlight of our trip was the acoustic concert by the beach with Coco & Martha. They are AMAZIIINNNNNGGG!!! We have been traveling to this area for the past 13 years and this was the best entertainment we have experienced in a resort. We are already planning our next trip to Secrets Capri because it is a great value for your money. I will call ahead of time to make sure Coco & Martha will be performing during our stay.

The hotel was beautiful!!! Service was beyond amazing. I lost my sandals and camera, no one took them into the lost and found; the hotel gifted me a brand new pair of sandals and a disposable water proof camera!!! That is what this hotel is all about. They go beyond the call of duty. I can't wait till I can go back!!! AMAZING!!!

I celebrated my birthday there!! Everyone was happy and delightful to be with. The staff could not have been better in taking care of everything I wanted to do while at the resort.

Secrets Capri blew our expectations out of the amazing turquoise water! It made our honeymoon an experience of a lifetime! The staff were all as nice as can be! The food and drink hit the spot at every meal of every hour of the day! It was just perfect! I would recommend going to anyone I know and definitely want to return myself!

We had ocean view right above night club and the area where private event occurred. Needless to say it was around 2:00am when quiet came. We paid extra/upgrade upon arrival just to be disturbed into well after midnight. Spa appointment was too confusing, booking agent gave us the correct beginning time, another agent gave wrong time the day of. You should allow one hour prior to masage when doing hydrotherapy. We were late and it was not the most pleasant experience. This is not the Secrets that I absolutely loved three years ago on my first stay, which led me to always look for a Secrets whenever we are looking for all inclusive. Several friends have stayed at Secrets based on my recommendation. I will share this experience too. One good thing: the Wednesday entertainment was good. I am very disappointed with this stay.

We didn't care for this resort. The beach is filled with seaweed and the food not so great. The resort itself is small and the staff doesn't inforce the no smoking policy. The bartender Juan was the best. The worst part is when you check in they try to get you to go visit their orher resorts. When you tell them you aren't interested they just keep at you. Needless to say we won't be back.

This is very much a couples resort, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I came here with my cousin and brother and still had a great time (was not looking for cheap hook ups) but it would have been a million times better had it been my girlfriend and I. Staff - The entertainment staff was amazing. Cesar, Yoshi, Olga, Valentina, Manon and others really kept us busy and had amazing attitudes. Even added a few of them on Facebook and hope to form long lasting relationships. All the chefs and waiters were great. Every one spoke perfect English. My only complaint is about Miguel, the cigar salesman. He was extremely rude and made me feel like he didn't care for my business. Would not cut cigars that I didn't buy from him (extremely marked up) nor would he sell me matches. Beach - It's small but absolutely amazing. We spent a majority of our time there. Angel fish would swim through your legs and it's quite the sight to see. On our last day, seaweed took over and there was a horrible fishy smell on the beach. Luckily we were getting ready to leave but I could see how this could be unappealing to others. Pool - Amazing pool. 4 ft deep all around. The vast size allowed one side to be dedicated to partying and music while the other side was meant for quiet time and lounging. Clemente at the pool bar was great and had my drink of choice ready before I opened my mouth. Make sure you try the Riviera Maya. Food & Alcohol - Stay away from Portofino. Horrible food and bad vibes.

Had a great time. Great views from all of the suites, excellent food, and very good service. Got a decent price for the value, as well. Will definitely return.

Very nice hotel, very laid back. Food was great rooms very clean and nice.

Hotel was veey nice, a bit older than the other secrets resorts we've been too. Food good, drinks ok, room very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for seclusion and quiet.

The staff and food was very good! The only bad thing we would say is upon arriving the hotel greater was already trying to sell us another vacation and we had not even had time to enjoy our stay first. There was also a lot of seaweed on beach.

We have stayed here before and the service and food were great as always. I have heard complaints about the seaweed and there was a ton of it. The staff does a good job at cleaning it up. It's hard to walk up and down the beach due to the seaweed but the other resorts had the same problem. I think it's the time of the year. The beach is half the size it used to be due to the seaweed and high tide but there was plenty of room at the beach and pool. The food has gotten a lot better over the years. Great time and we will be returning. Great value for your money.

We stayed for 7 days/6 nights. First, the staff was excellent. All very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The staff was the best part of the hotel. Smaller hotel, adults only, friendly feel. The beach was small. rocky, and below the level that I would have expected. Pool was nice and colorful. Restaurants were clean, well organized. However, the entrees were bland, lacking in seasoning and flavor. WiFi is terrible, weak, fluctuating intrenet connections. Drinks were very good. Our room was clean and bright, very well maintained. Overall, an above average hotel, but not exceptional.

Outstanding food. Best of ANY all inclusive. Lots of fun activities. Great beach. Liked the smaller size (500 rooms). Drinks could have been stronger-but just order a rocks drink Dulces helped us a great deal with moving rooms to the best in the resort. And Hector ran a super fun newly wed/couples game.

We have been to 4 different resorts in the Riviera Maya area since 2009. Secrets Capri is the only one we have been to twice. If you are looking for a resort that is smaller ( no golf carts needed to transport you from place to place on property), more friendly guests, friendly staff, and a great spa. This is the place for you. To sum it up my wife and I will definitely be going back to Secrets Capri.
