Hotel was cute, clean, very well located. Checkin was fast and friendly. Accessing underground parkade was challenging due to one way streets, bad timing with Carnaval closing streets, and guy very distracted with phone, directed our big suv to a half end spot suitable only for motorbikes or Smart car at most...took a full 5 minutes to back out, turn around, up ramp to the wide open upper level. Worst was the room which was cute but smelled of STRONG chlorine gas ALL day and night. Room was right beneath rooftop swimming pool, running water sound all night in bedroom not bathroom. I was woken at 5am (unusual) couldn't fall asleep again until I opened patio door to let gas out in spite of potential cold (5-10C all week around 5am). By then restaurant below started talking, rearranging furniture, birds loud. We didn't even fall asleep until carnaval performance across street ended around 1:30am. I would go back but definitely another room. Expedia did not elaborate why that "balcony room" was on deep discount. That would never pass health inspection in US or Can, but anything goes in Mex, beware.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. Room was large enough for the two of us, decent washroom, clean linens everyday and a nice little balcony. The breakfast included was a lot better than what I was expecting, it’s a full menu of local options as well omelettes, etc. One of the key points for us was the central location, this is walking distance or short transportation to pretty much anywhere you’re going to want to go in Playa. It’s also across from a municipal park that seemed to be pretty popular among the locals, they had a couple nights with free concerts, live entertainment, and great street vendors. Also, the staff were very friendly, courteous, and always willing to provide great recommendations for beaches, cenotes, activities, etc., and the cheapest/best way to get there from the hotel. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

Amazing, friendly, always smiling staff and a charming property in the centre of town but with a peaceful, shaded, plant-filled garden and three pools. Room was well furnished if a little rough around the edges in finish, but given the price this is not a complaint at all (it did however have A/C and a fridge). The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. A lovely relaxing stay and far better than being on 5th Avenue

Pools are so cold they are not usable, even on the hottest days. Hot tubs are filled in with dirt. I chose this hotel for those 2 things and feel I got scammed. The room and facilities are clean and decent. Location was fantastic, close to everything and walking distance. I would go back if they fixed the pools and hot tubs!

The Hotel itself is very unassuming, but inside, is BEAUTIFULL! warm, inviting, friendly, private secure underground parking, and the staff were amazing. We had a small issue with our air conditioner and they switched or room without question apologised profusely for the inconvenience and even gave us a wonderful bottle of wine. overall I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a great price and SUPER conveniently located right next to the town square with all kinds of food vendors and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach with access to some of the best restaurants Mexico has to offer!

I was disappointed with the weak WiFi signal. I was told by the staff that there are a lot of people staying at the hotel this week, so the WiFi is not strong. Otherwise the hotel is in a good location, close to Walmart and 5th Ave.

I had a wonderful day. The location was amazing. Everything went walking distance through were very clean and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. around this time it would help if there was a working spa to be able to enjoy the beautiful rooftop.
