Upkeep has gone downhill. We have stayed here for the last 3 or 4 years and nothing is maintained. Pool ladies' bathroom - stall door latches don't work, toilets are hard to get to flush, soap dispenser broken and empty. Also no soap in lobby bathroom. In our suite, the shower water alternated between hot and cold. Many outlets didn't work. We used to love this place but now we're having 2nd thoughts about it.

This was my second time staying here! I really like it, always clean, convenient. parking was a bit difficult but once we figured it out it was great. You must insert coins after you enter the license plate.

The roof is beautiful. Everything else is terrible. It was a stay for my husbands birthday and they were informed ahead of time. Not only did they not do anything special (promised) they gave us a room with 2 broken TVs and a clogged toilet. The air conditioning sounds like a Jetpack taking off when it turns on every 10 minutes. The room smelled and the sheets were dirty. They claimed they were be a twin bed in the room but it was a futon with broken legs. There were weird cleaning supplies and cords in the cupboards. But the worst part of all was that the room did not have a deadbolt lock which seemed suspicious.at 11pm someone fully ENTERED the room with my daughter laying on the couch inches away. My husband jumped up and yelled for them to leave immediately. I was already asleep and would not have heard it over the extremely loud ac with he didn’t get up. No one had apologized and Expedia still had not rectified the matter 3 days later! No explanation given for them entering with a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON THE DOOR! We would never stay here again.

Loved our stay here! The hotel was clean, the price was great, and being close to the beach was a total bonus. The staff were super friendly and helpful too. Only thing that would make it even better is a bit of an update, but overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

The microwave didn't work - looked like it was but it never heated up. When we tried to check in the desk clerk had no record of our room. We waited for 20 minutes till he called someone, then gave me the phone. A woman who didn't identify herself apologized and said our room had been ready for 2 hours. Apparently he didn't look at the right place. Poor skills.

Stayed here for the kitchenette as we planned on cooking some of our meals. We also love the area it’s in as it’s right in the middle of all the restaurants, clubs and shops. However, the kitchen sink had no hot water at all. The shower would get warm then cold and warm and cold during a shower but never got hot. We contemplated losing our money since our booking was non refundable and staying elsewhere. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, so when doing my hair I had to plug my curler in a kitchen outlet and do my hair using my reflection in the microwave. The couch was really cheap. I sat down on it and a wooden block slipped from underneath and the couch tipped over. This happened multiple times so we chose to not use the living room as it was not comfortable trying to keep balance so the couch won’t tip. Also upon arrival we noticed lots of hair on the shower floor so that had us questioning the cleanliness of the place. After the first day they did a better job cleaning. The bed was comfy. If you care about hearing loud music this is not the place for you. We didn’t mind it. Glad I didn’t pay extra for a balcony because a lot of the balconies are not actually outside. The view is inside the hotel where the elevators are. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Sucks the bar didn’t open until 12pm. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Great Place - just a couple of things

This was a great save since we had problems with our original accommodations and booked this place frantically and honestly - we are so happy we landed here! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were clean and in an optimal location. I noticed it says in the amenities that it is 24-hour rooftop access, but that's not true - it closes a few minutes before 9p, and I understand for safety reasons. Still, having that option would be amazing, especially seeing all the lights at night and getting that ocean breeze. We also had a few electrical issues with our room - we had to keep turning the breaker switch on and off to get the A/C and microwave to work, but they were so kind and helpful through the hiccups that you couldn't be upset. I would stay here again, 10/10, even with the small things.

Although the location was excellent, and for the most part, the room and balcony was wonderful. The microwave didn't work. Our private shower, the water only trickled out of the shower head in our room, the other shower was a little better. The ac worked but would not regulate. Either it was too cold or too warm. The patio area where you could congregate was an awesome place for our group to meet. We had a great time with that and the pool and bar area was excellent. The only problem we have with staff was the guy that was at the desk who wore glasses. We don't remember his name, but he was not very Kind. We ran out of toilet paper and he said we had to contact the administrator. And when my husband asked if he could just find a roll of toilet paper, he grabbed a roll of paper towels from under the desk and slammed it on the counter. Very unprofessional other than that everyone else was great.

Overall really good experience and great value, new modern property, excellent location, block from beaches and shops, amazing rooftop, friendly staff and service….. would’ve been 5 stars across the board, but water pressure for shower was really bad, as well as some of the appliances weren’t functional, such as the microwave with no power and no extension cords, no paper towels (would expect something as it had a full kitchenette)

Arrived 20 mins. Early, female cleck wouldn’t check us in until 3p because we booked with Expedia but allowed other from booking and book it to check-in, stated she had to wait for Expedia to send our info, when her shift was over at 3p a new clerk took over, I approached him to Check -in and the envelope was right there just had to be handed to me, clearly the girl clerk was just being lazy. Safe was on locked mode, asked for it to be open so we can use it, male clerk called the property manager several times never answered his calls and never showed up. We asked for a room upgrade and pay for it, male clerk again had to call the manager who never answered, didn’t get a room upgrade and no answer on the request. You own drinks not allowed around the pool area since they have a cash bar, very inconvenient. Had to buy our own sanitary paper because clerk did not have access to supplies once cleaning crew has left. Good WiFi, good location. Good AC. I would not return.

I wish we had booked the Meliora but we decided to try something new. Our problems were all centered around not having a working lock on our door upon arrival. The digital keypad was broken so we were given a key. We figured they had multiple copies of the keys but they did not. So for two days our room could not be cleaned. My husband went out and had to buy us toilet paper. Then they thought they fixed the digital keypad but later that night it stopped working again. So we couldn’t leave the room until it was fixed because we’d risk going out with an unlocked room. The third day they finally fixed the lock and keypad for good but it was frustrating for the first two days. They gave us a new shower head that my husband installed himself since there was no water pressure and again they couldn’t get into our room our first couple days. The staff and administrator were very nice and tried to fix things and make it better. But it was a poorly maintained room and either should have been dealt with before we got there, or given us a different room. I hope you don’t get room 110 suite because your lock may stop working and the shower still kinda sucks. We ended up having to pay $108 extra dollars too because we changed our stay from July 5-10 to July 10-15 because the hurricane, so it would have been nice to have a better hotel stay. Luckily my husband and I still had a nice vacation despite all the punches singular joy threw at us.
