The hotel was extremely quiet, very clean and the studio room was very roomy and comfortable. The breakfast bar was one of the best I've ever experienced in my travels and really enjoyed the four-mini Belgian waffle maker. Would have enjoyed an indoor pool at this facility since the outdoor pool was closed for the season, but overall, a GREAT value and GREAT hotel!

There are many positives about this hotel. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean, and the housekeeping staff is excellent. It’s a good choice for an overnight stay. However, if you are planning to stay longer and need accommodations with washers and dryers on site in the next few days, you may want to look elsewhere. There are only 3 washers in their laundry room, 2 of which have been out-of-order since Wed. The last operational washer went out last night. No doubt, at some point they will be repaired, but it does not appear to be a management priority, so I am just warning folks for whom laundry facilities are an important feature that when booking here in the next week or 2 you might want to confirm the washers are operating again.

This has become my go-to Hotel when i visit my Hometown,i've stayed at several Properties over the years but this has become my Favorite !...Lobby was Spotless,Room was Clean and smelled Fresh upon entering..my Wife was pleased,which as a husband is very rewarding since I always book when we come to my Home..Breakfast was hot & delicious well prepared..As is my custom i want to recognize Ms Linda Davis for always accomodating my wife and I whenever travel Home,Britanni Pressler for going beyond when we overslept breakfast hrs when i told her we both are Diabetics,Martha Rayas breakfast Hostess and Matthew Reveria and the Housekeeping Staff who i forgot their names who were so nice to me no matter how often i needed them !...Service 10+ Staff 10+ Housekeeping 10+ and Front Desk Awesome !!!

Poor Service. Before booking confirmed the shuttle service to my office will be available. Once the stay started they told they cannot provide shuttle. The only reason I booked the hotel because they agreed to provide the shuttle. Now I need to spend money for commuting to office. They didn't kept their word. Poor service.

WORST Residence Inn I've stayed in and one of the worst overall hotel experiences I've had. My family and I drove through Wednesday night in order for us to enjoy Thanksgiving with my relatives on Thursday. Due to our Thursday 4am ETA to the Richmond area, we decided to pay for an extra night so we'd be able to check into a room once we arrived around 4am. I had to wait approximately 15 minutes until the front desk person was present at the front desk to buzz me in through the locked front door. My arrival should not have been a surprise as there was supposed to be a note I'd be arriving around 3-4am Thursday to check-in for my Wednesday night stay. My toddler son has multiple food allergies. When my wife asked to see the ingredients of the bacon and sausage, the person overseeing the breakfast area had no idea what we were asking about due to what seemed to be a language barrier. The EXACT same breakfast menu was served Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday morning. I've stayed in a Residence Inn for 6 months due to training and it would take at least a week for a menu to be repeated. Hotel stays aren't cheap and I feel guests should be provided at least a decent variety for their stay. After having driven 9.5 hours overnight, my wife and I returned to the hotel at approximately 1130am to nap before my relatives' Thanksgiving festivities later in the day. When my wife pulled aside the blankets she found long hairs and various debris on her bedsheets. We had no desire to sleep on someone else's skin cells, so we called the front desk and spoke with Brittni (not sure about spelling) asking for fresh sheets. After 10 minutes, we called Brittni again and she said the housekeeping staff should already be on it. After about 5 minutes, we called Brittni again and she said she'd speak to housekeeping again. After about another 5 minutes, we explained we were very tired and wanted to nap after driving through the night. We asked if I could just come down to the front desk to just be given sheets for me to change myself. Brittni said we shouldn't have to do that and that she'd tell housekeeping to be urgent on our bedsheets request. After another 5 minutes of no sheets, my wife informed Brittni i was going downstairs to retrieve sheets myself. When I got to the front desk, Brittni said a housekeeper was already on her way to the room. When I got to the room, my wife informed me the housekeeper had not arrived. If a housekeeper was already on her way to the room, I would've expected her to beat me to the room after I left the front desk. About a couple minutes after I got back to the room, a housekeeper finally arrived. When my wife opened the door, the housekeeper simply handed the bedsheets to my wife. We asked her if she was going to put the new bedsheets on and remove the unwanted ones and her verbatim response was, "No. I'm not working today." This was ridiculous for my wife and I to pay for and arrive to a hotel room with dirty bed sheets and have to fight for 30 minutes in order to obtain clean ones only to have to change out our beds ourselves. Throughout this 30-minute ordeal, we received NO apology from Brittni. Her only apology was provided AFTER my wife pointed out to her that that we received no apology throughout this ordeal. I've stayed in multiple Residence Inns and hotels in general. I've never had an issue going to a front desk asking for additional supplies and being given them on the spot as all these supplies are simply stored in a supply room. After having left a voicemail complaint to management on Thursday, we received no followup contact until Sunday. And then after the top manager reached out to me on Monday, I provided my complaint and she stated she was out of town but that she would review with the management team. It has been a week since my ordeal, 3 days since the top manager was informed, and still no effort by the hotel to make this right. I gave the hotel ample time to make it right. Failure to do so has resulted in my posting this negative Tripadvisor review.

I recently traveled to this hotel for a family gathering at Thanksgiving. This location was conveniently located a short drive from our relatives and the University where we also visited. The staff were friendly during check in and check out. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy, the wifi was good, and breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel for family travel and business. GlobalGuy2016

..... but it felt like home. The staff were very friendly and helpful for all the little things. You could tell that everyone enjoyed what they were doing, not just going thru the motions. i will definitely return.

My Family & I have stayed at the Residence Inn twice. Check in was easy and staff are pleasant & courteous. Both times, we stayed in a room with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, spacious and clean, with an adequately stocked kitchen. A decent little breakfast area, can get quite busy, food is ok, coffee is good. Pool & fire pit area are small but well kept. Hotel is somewhat hidden from main street. I have stayed twice and will stay again!

Room was clean and in good shape. NOTE: dogs are allowed and there were many here during our stay but we encountered no noise or smell issues. Breakfast is residence inn standard fare. Location is convenient.

We stay in quite a few different RI properties. This one just doesn't rate. It is in a good location, with many nearby stores. However, it is an older property that has had some cosmetic updates, and the rooms are quite small. There were many problems with our room. Trash under the sofa. The tub ran constantly. There was only one door on the closet. No luggage rack. Ice maker did not work at all. Old glassware and dishware-they should have spent the extra money to replace this. There was no recognition of my SPG Gold status. Just a very mediocre/substandard hotel.
