Nice clean hotel. The beds are amazing, great staff, and an all you can eat breakfast buffet included! need I say more?
When we arrived to check in there was a vagrant sleeping in the lobby. I asked the night clerk if this was a nightly occurrence and he said someone just dropped this person off and called a cab. Then our sleep was interrupted in middle of the night when we overheard other guest in the hall loudly arguing over something. This lasted for about half and hour. I would not stay here again.
I chose to stay at the Ramada as they had the best rate in town. When I arrived I was greater warmly by the night staff working the desk and promptly given a room. I recieved a room that was on the outside of the building. It was 51 degrees when I entered. After about. An hour of having the heat cranked all the way up and shivering, I call the desk and inquired about the heat. The night staff man came and checked on the heat, felt how cold it was and quickly offered to move me to an interior room. The room inside was 66 degrees and was 76 by the time I awoke in the morning. When I went to take a shower the next day, I noticed the tub sank when you stepped on it. The place has clearly been worked on and it's nice, but the shower area was rushed. My suggestions, purchase the breakfast buffet with your ticket, and ask for an interior room if it's cold outside.
My stay at the Ramada was one of worst experiences i had ever had the staff was very rude the front desk had no knowledge of anything including the area.i stayed there a month and not once did a housekeeper knock on the door, i had to go to the front desk and get clean linen and towels,i had to ask for trash bags although the manager was very nice
Having managed hotel's and worked numerous hotel's, the front end was excellent but the room needed deep-cleaned.
My grandson resides in less than desirable living conditions on a local reservation and lives in survival mode daily except when he is allowed visitations with me on weekends. He looks forward to our time together and our relationship has been his lifeline on numerous occasions. Our stays here have become a refuge from the drama and trauma of a dysfunctional, neglectful and abusive living situation from which he has no other escape. It is the perfect haven and provides everything we need conveniently and graciously! We love staying here!
Stayed her for just over a week, waiting for car repairs. Got a remodeled room with a very comfortable bed but the tub was dirty. The gentleman at the front desk in the evenings texts on his phone while I'm waiting to check in, never has a king bed room clean, complains constantly about how shorthanded the hotel is, and just doesn't seem to like his job in general. My last reservation, I checked in for 2 nights and told him that I didn't want room service. Well the next day, I hung the do not disturb sign on my door and left. Later that afternoon, I couldn't get in my room because he had only coded my key for one night, as he has done every single day I've been here. After walking all the way around to the front desk in the the cold and the wind, I finally got my keys fixed and got into my room. Although I had told the desk and hung the DoNotDisturb sign, they still went into my room and serviced it. Earlier this week, when I did ask for service, they didn't get to my room until 7:30 at night. But the rates are excellent, the bed is comfortable, the towels are fluffy, and it's close to my auto shop. But beware... service here sucks....and I'm a Wyndham Gold Member.
Less than perfect stay. Air conditioner was very loud and did not work. Our hotel keys were deactivated twice. The bar closed early both nights we were staying (we were there on a Friday and Saturday). They have a new program in the bar where you can prepay for your drinks at the self service bar. You prepay by them loading money on a card for you. Really cool idea but we did not use all the money on our card and no one was able to figure out how to credit us. The TV was suppose to be a smart TV however the remote did not allow you to have those capabilities.
We were disappointed to find the hotel which was large had no elevator. We were told it didn't have to, as it only had 2 floors. We had to carry our bags up 2 floors. I have a weight restriction on how much I should lift. Also, I am a diabetic and there was no refrigerator in the room to keep my insulin cold. The desk clerk was in the process of quitting when we arrived, so check in was slow. No free breakfast was offered, so we had to pay $10 per person each day even if all we wanted was toast and coffee. The room was comfortable and the shower was great, but again no heat lamp in the bathroom. These are just little things but had these been offered, the stay would have been perfect.
We reserved this hotel via Booking.com and it was not a good experience for us. The hotel is well located, easy access off the Interstate and quiet. We checked in at 3pm but had to move 3 times after check-in due to blocked tub drains, air-conditioner not shutting off, dead bolt would not work and room was not made up. The staff were a little slow to find us an acceptable room, we did not feel appreciated. Finally someone named Robert took charge, he expressed genuine concern, apologized as he settled us in an acceptable room at midnight. The last room we stayed in did look like the posted photos online. The hotel seemed to be set up for conferences. The breakfast buffet did not have a lot of choices and was a little tired looking. We contacted the General Manager early the next day and he was sincerely apologetic. We were fairly compensated for our problems at this location. I would recommend this hotel going forward because I think the issues that we encountered have been addressed.
