We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the room we were given did not match our reservation. The carpet was wet, the sofa bed was broken, and the beds were full-sized instead of the queen-sized we had booked. To make matters worse, the toilet was clogged.
We reported these issues to the front desk, but were met with careless and rude behavior. Feeling unheard, we called the main customer service number and a case was opened to report the front desk’s conduct (a young lady). Thankfully, we were eventually moved to a different room that met our expectations, queen-sized beds and a working sofa bed.
However, the problems didn’t end there. After checkout, we were charged for “market consumption” items, even though we never used anything from the room or the bar. This added to an already frustrating experience.
Overall, this stay was disappointing from start to finish. While the second room was acceptable, the poor service and unexpected charges left a bad impression. We will not be returning to this hotel.
