Areas where clean and neat, access to the beach, staff was vert helpfull.

We have stayed here before and had a much better experience the last time. This time we payed much more to stay and the experience was dissapointing for how much we payed to stay there. Let’s start with the pool. The pool was not relaxing at all. It was full of screaming kids until 10pm, they let people play different Bose speakers at the same time so you had people with 3 different kinds of loud music like that was a public beach, my husband was not able to get service at the pool and when he went to the bar to order was ignored. Imagine if staff was not serving us at the pool much less they cared about any behavior there. The screams of the kids in the pool could be heard in our room until the pool was closed. Kids were throwing inflatable balls on your face every 10 seconds. Also, my room service order was wrong but I was not going to wait another hour to get served. We never received regular room service the 3 days we were there. So different than the previous hotel we didn’t get clean towels, bed made or more products. The quality of the toiletries was awful and the small of the body lotion was terrible. This is a resort, we paid $250 plus. Lastly, they changed the restaurant that used to have delicious food, now is a buffet. You have to pay for everything in the hotel including parking…We will not be staying there ever again.

Need more choices for dining and update the connections for internet and tv.

I love the service, the amenities, very nice staff. The pool area, chairs availability and the atmosphere at night. I didn’t love the food. Overall it was Ok but the mofongo was bad. People who eat mofongo here for the first time is going to have a bad impression of our national foody treasure (Who puts green peas on a Mofongo?) Other than that it was a really nice place and I had a great time with my future wife.

The whole staff was fantastic, but the food wasn’t that great & the beach is very rocky (you’ll need beach shoes to get into the water), and there are no shuttles to town - and given a lack of ubers/no readily available taxis, it makes it difficult to leave/return to the resort without such a service.

This resort is amazing and exceeded our expectations. So much to do right at the resort and close to everything we wanted to do.

We had an amazing 4 day weekend here. Although the main resort buildings are a bit dated, they were immaculately clean and well kept. Our room with balcony in the Ocean Tower was up to date and very comfortable. The pool is nice with a hot tub and a jacuzzi tub. There is a small slide for children as well as a playground. There were many games and sporting equipment available for check out from the pool house. El Bohio, the pool bar had excellent food and our server Alejandro gave us wonderful ideas of places to visit on the island.

Everything was great overall. They could invest in the fitness center (small and crowded in the morning), and run a coffee station next to the restaurant the whole day, not just in the morning.

The pool and beach were absolutely perfect. Not very busy at all which was nice. The only negative is that there wasn't shuttle transport to do anything but I guess everything has a silver lining because that issue forced me and my husband to rent a car and we were able to go here there and everywhere. would definitely stay there again. Staff was wonderful and the resort was magical.

Old dated rooms, the “fine” restaurant that required reservation has plastic chairs come on! the place was so-so too, not worth for “reservation” The beach was not the best of the island as well.

The grounds at this property are beautiful. However, there’s only two restaurants and the food at the bar is disgusting. We ate there the first night and did not like anything we ordered. We could have gotten a better meal from McDonalds. The buffet is a bit better, but not many options for the $28.95 price tag. The rooms are old and run down. I booked a king room for my husband and I and we ended up in a nasty, smelly room with an old dirty bathroom. The smell was so bad we had to be moved and was given double beds which was beyond frustrating. The beds were so small my husband and I couldn’t even lay comfortably together. We asked to be moved to a king room and was told they had none available. No one ever reached out to us at any point to let us know if/when a king room became available. We mentioned our dissatisfaction to the front desk attendant at checkout and all she said was “sorry”(like a freaking robot). I would never go back or recommend this hotel.

Great property but the beds were small and we had to call to get ants removed from our room and they wanted to charge us for every little things pool towel, microwave and did not honor my rewards status during breakfast buffet due to me booking on orbitz. breakfast was terrible with birds trying to eat your food
