Combate Beach Resort

We visited premises on the basis of our previous great experiences on previous years with prior local ownership, and reviews/accolades on awards given to new corporation. The hotel prices offered great expectations on our end, when compared with other inmediate similar facilities. Our nightmare started with sewer fumes/fluids migrating into the bathroom area, forcing personnel to transfer us to a differnt adjacent room; No noted repairs made. Then, new room was plagued with cockcoraches, that forced us to fumigate room on our own; in spite of complaining to General Manager with no action taken. A price discount of 30% consideration were given for the last night only (three nights total booking), by the same. The continental breakfast offered was composed of Cereal, Milk, Bagels, OJ and Coffe Only! And, at checkout; the receipt did not showed total of charges issued to credit card; although, it was requested repeatedly. I was then forced to contact credit card, to investigate any potential fraud; since, lack of totals/closeout issued. We regret having to share such experience, for such a beautiful area, and such great previous experiences with prior local ownership.

Compared with other beach-side resorts in PR, this is a good bargain. Went there with elderly parents, who found the accommodations perfectly suitable for them. Very good, clean, big rooms on the ground floor, with easy access to a clean, unspoiled beach.

This hotel has become my place to go whenever I want to break away and disconnect. It is located on the Combate Beach Nature reserve, adjacent to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. Very comfortable rooms and an excellent welcoming staff make this one of the best options when exploring the southwest coast.

This place is excellent has alittle of everything the beach was walking distance beautiful the restaurant amazing food A+ I have no complaints The service was GREAT! Definitely a place a stay I will be coming back. Oh and very very clean.

First time staying at the Combate Beach Resort. From the Frontdesk to the maintenance staff they were all very friendly and attentive. the hotel is very close to the beach. Rooms are more than what you need even for a long vacation. Will definitely come back.

We are recurrent visitors to the Combate area but this was our first time staying at this hotel. We decided to give it a try because of the reviews here. It is a small hotel. It has a main building and another one at the begining of the street called La Hacienda. We arrived early and were checked in really quick. The gave us our room and beach gate keys, explained everything and the escorted to our room. We stayed at the main building on a King Deluxe room, located above the reception area. The room was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. They offer continental breakfast ( bagels, bread, fruits, coffee, juice ) but you can order breakfast from a menu. Pool area is clean with chairs and a gazebo with some tables. There is a gate that gives access to the beach. You can ask for beach towels or take yours as well as your cooler and beach chairs. There are kayaks and bikes for rent. Restaurants are at walking distance. The only cons we could find are: They could add a protein to the breakfast. Change the room keys to electronic keys. It's a small , low key hotel with everything that you will need to stay in this area. Its clean, comfortable and the people that work here are nice and attentive. That is all we needed!!

We were here for a little romantic getaway. We arrived late at night and they were practically waiting for us. As soon as we parked the lobby representative greet us by name. He proceed to went out and close the gate. We were assign a room on the second floor. It was perfect...clean, bed was comfortable, towels were provided and the normal amenities for a hotel. It is basically a 5 minutes walk to the beach, so you could bring your coolers, beach chairs and whatever you need to spend your day at the beach. Walking distance to your right on the beach you could enjoy amazing food from Annie’s Restaurant. Check out was with no problems

Lovely beach, great people, close to great restaurant, a nice family place. Not a luxury hotel, but very clean in a relaxing corner of the island away from the commercialism and traffic of San Juan area.

Everything was very clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We went for a weekend anniversary getaway and really enjoyed the stay and the surroundings. We have already recommended the hotel to several friends and family members.

The location is good. The beautiful area. It has a beach Has a pool. Recommendations: 1. Have a buffet breakfast. 2. System of locks of rooms is electronic. 3. Free ice service. 4. A la carte meals. 5. More staff at the front desk. 6. Coffee in the room.
