Beautiful, peaceful and quite place! The food at the restaurant was really good and good service!!

The pictures of this resort do not so it justice. Peaceful and quiet.

The staff is very nice in the restaurant and the Eclipse restaurant is great. They have a beautiful beachfront property.

The sapce was bigger than I imagine. Need to upgrade the patio furniture

Service and checking personnel rude. They left the premises even do I was in front of them asking them to please answer the phone to Orbitz representative. No options of any type were given.

Good if you want peaceful and relax away all stress. Slow down your life. Cool place to ride hourse and if you surf it is good too.

Beautiful site and well keep, but room small and in great need of updating and additional amenities, for example no in room safe, no robes and ours had no windows. The staff were all bilingual and extremely cordial and most helpful.

The resort and staff were great. Enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant as well. There were plenty of comfy chairs on the beach and pools to sit on. The only thing we found off-putting was the rooms. The room had a moldy smell.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was the worst experience I have ever had. The location is very nice with a great beach to enjoy. The room was horrible. Paid close to 300 Dollar per night and the shower did not work properly. Either scolding hot or only cold water. The sink did not have hot water. Had to shave in cold water. The toilet was so noisy when it filled the water tank that is was unbearable. Very few towels in the room for two people. Complained to the front desk and they promised to fix it. They only brought towels. All the technical issues was still the same. When you pay around 300 Dollar per night you expect something a little better standard. Will never select this hotel again.

Hotel was beautiful and a perfect setting for a wedding we attended. The beach is wonderful.

Villa Montaña is a great place to relax. It doesn't feel like you are staying at a hotel. The streets, villas, flora and fauna, makes it feel like you are at a neighborhood. Room was clean, although floor was a bit dirty and a wall had a dead mosquito. Other than that, bathroom was clean, water pressure was good (although I was at the far villas), bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Stairs to the villa smelled a bit like mold but not the room. Some details of maintenance need attention but nothing out of proportion. Personnel was attentive, except for the front desk manager ( light-haired lady with short hair), who upon my arrival and not finding my reservation made comments out loud of why she couldn't find it (making it my fault) and not expressing a right customer service attitude of resolving problems. Besides the initial non-friendly experience all other staff were very nice.

Had an amazing trip here with the wife, just sitting on the water and watching the world go by. Our room actually wasn't ready when we arrived and they comped us with a free bottle of champagne, which obviously smoothed things over. Some nice hiking around the property too!

The grounds were very nice and the beach side bar and lounge were very comfortable. The rooms were not the best appointed for the price but the greater property makes up for it.

The only complaint I have is that there were many many mosquitoes in our room (I get bitten easily so I'm paranoid about checking). The staff, from the front gates to the beach bar, was friendly. The bar pool was fine (didn't get a chance to dip into the other but it looked nice). The beach was really incredible - super quiet, untamed, uncrowded and natural, as if you went to an undiscovered deserted island. There is a long stretch you can walk off from the resort and there is a horseback riding spot right off the beach. Different parts of the beach have different interesting rock and coral formations, making for a really interesting and relaxing walk. Highly recommend this place if you're looking a quiet, rustic beach getaway.

Staff was solicitous in every way and made us feel welcome and comfortable in every way. We LOVED the location on the beach and kicking back on the lounges (before the families got there and all the beach chairs and lounges became unavailable if we got to the beach after 10 am). A bit frustrating, but a first world problem, easily survived.

We had a wonderful weekend, beautiful morning beach stroll and a lovely sunset. Breakfast by the beach was great. Food taste was excellent. Wonderful dites for picture taking!
