I had booked my room several months in advance, but when I asked the hotel if it was possible to move my stay to the following night, they refused because I hadn’t chosen a flexible or refundable rate. A small gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated, but apparently that’s not part of the hotel’s policy.
Regarding the room, it unfortunately didn’t smell good, there were stains on the walls, and everything felt quite old. We even had to disinfect the bathroom ourselves, as we didn’t really trust the cleanliness.
