So we had tried to contact this location without much luck to confirm ocean view and accessible Room. My Mom is very immobile. I had finally gotten through when I mentioned I wanted to add Star Class and was assured the request had been made only to arrive and find out that there were no such ocean view rooms that were accessible. I think they saw our predicament and moved quickly to help us out. Noelia, a manager came to speak to us, Justin was right there to take us to our rooms. Mom’s room ended up an accessible room but no ocean view. To compensate us on price difference. They provided us with cabanas for two days and we had superb service from all staff. Room was in good condition I absolutely loved the room we stayed in. The food was not great, very low quality That includes the restaurant food and room service . Staff was great, they noticed we did not like our food but did not take it out of the bill. Which okay I guess I’ll pay 70$ for an untasteful lobster tail. Also gettiny transportation to the airport was crazy expensive, I wish I would have gotten an uber instead .

The property itself is nice; however, there was no air conditioning during our stay, which made it very uncomfortable, especially at bedtime. Having a young child made the experience particularly difficult.

The room was in excellent condition, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. My rating, however, reflects a few concerns. After booking, dinner reservations were made on my behalf without any prior consultation, and when I attempted to modify them, I was informed that changes were not possible—even though the alternative restaurant appeared to have walk-in availability. Additionally, I found the lunch and snack options to be underwhelming, and I was not particularly fond of the fragrances used throughout the lobby and other common areas. Aside from these issues, the property offers a pleasant environment and a beautiful beach, making it a nice option for a short getaway.

Go on the eco walk in the morning to see the howler monkeys and some cool nature, it’s an easy walk on a straight dirt path ! Star class upgrade is worth it and I feel mandatory in order to enjoy everything around the resort. Always love Royalton hotels, the wildlife here was insane. I am more than happy with my stay and am so thankful for all the amazing staff that I will never forget !

The resort was beautiful my wife and I had a wonder time. Room was clean, staff around the pool was very friendly and attentive. Only reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because the staff during dinner and at the breakfast buffet left myself, my wife, and her friends without water and waiters hardly came to check on us. I had to wave down people just to get water. Other than that hotel is beautiful and the country is too.

We couldnt get reservations at restaurants at all some nights... even though we were reserving at checkin. other nights only at 9pm and at the same restaurant previously reserved. We went anyway ( as advised by conceirge) and restaurant staff werent accomodating even though tables were empty. So dining was Dissappointing.
