The staff were so nice and welcoming. The food and alcohol was really good considering the price for the all-inclusive. The beach is black sand though- just in case someone was wanting a white sand beach, this is not the place to go. Pool area and workout room were great!

The staff was very attentive to your needs. They would check periodically to make sure if we needed anything. The food at the restaurant’s was very good, because sometimes at inclusive resorts the food can be lacking. Great vacation!

The property was wonderful. It was clean, beautiful and had lots of restaurants at the property.

The property is old and falling apart. My room leaked every time the shower turned on or the AC. Problem wasn’t ever resolved and no other accommodations were offered. If we would have known or been told about the Star we may have purchased it but since I didn’t know we were treated like 2nd class. No reservations needed for dinner but a party of 3 had to wait 3-4 to eat. Food subpar. The worst family vacation I have ever been on. And don’t forget about having to waste time Covid testing and Just to fly home. DON’T WASTE YOUR $$ here. So many better resorts available who will spoil you rotten and not for extra fee because it was promised

While there are some pros to this resort such as amazing views. The con’s overtake the pros. The food is terrible. Far away from most excursions and they don’t allows vehicles from outside (taxis, tours pickup) to go inside the property. Also they only have one pool.

The property is actually pretty nice and in a really good location, however is hard not to feel disappointed with the hotel for several reasons. 1- I am still dealing with a very bad stomach bug, even a week later after leaving the resort. I don’t know what I ate or drank while our stay there, but something definitely got me good on the second day of being there. (We were there for 4 days) 2- For a “claimed” all inclusive 4 star resort, they really try to nickel and dime you for silly things like pool cabanas and such. 3- Licor selection is very good, however beer selection is extremely limited. 4- We paid extra for “star class”, and even though you’re supposed to have your “personal agent” to schedule your things for you, he was off on our last two days there with no one to cover for him. (Sam was amazing, while he was there, extremely attentive). It’s a small thing, but if you pay for a service, you should get that service. 5-Initial checkin could’ve been a lot smoother. This resort only uses the same entrance as an exit, that means that you will see a lot of traffic there; from both other tourist and employees. At the redemption, I asked Kimberly for the restrooms because my wife had to go pretty bad. She essentially told us that we had to wait for someone to escort my wife to the second floor even though I later found out they had a restroom around the corner. In other words, she just wanted us to fill out the forms before anything else with no exceptions.

I stayed at this property for 5 days 4 nights and i have no major complaints. The resort was beautiful and the staff is friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Def worth the money. The food was very good. This is my second time being on a resort and enjoying the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner no complaints. My favorite restaurants was the steakhouse and mexican restaurant. Wasnt really a fan of the Italian restaurant. Guys burger joint never disappoints and service is fast. During the time that i went it wasnt much people so you could always find a pool chair. The pool itself was big but it was dirty. The beach is def not a beach where you could go and relax, they have like 20 beach chairs and it’s dirty with a bunch of leaves and bugs. The resort is big and my room was in the back so waiting for a shuttle was bit of annoying. Didn’t really get to enjoy sitting on my balcony due to the amount of bugs. But overall my stay here was amazing and i will definitely return.

While staying at the Planet Hollywood I encountered a few issues. The first being, not being able to stay with the group of people who booked with me. The second being not being able to book a reservation the day of for dinner and then when trying to book the next day was told we can’t book a reservation for 8 people. We weren’t really able to eat anywhere but the buffet. The room service took over an hour after calling to request at 6am and having to leave for an excursion at 7:15 we were unable to eat. The COVID test results were sent to a wrong email after having the confirmation of the right email it was sent twice to a gmail when the email was yahoo and it really stressed me out before leaving. The pool bar served watered down drinks. If you wanted too shelf liquor it was an extra charge. The staff stated they would give us an hour spa time because of some of our issues and we found out later that it was already a gift to us. The $500 resort credit is not a credit you can use how you want to, they give you a coupon book which requires you to purchase a certain amount to get a certain amount off, for example spend $100 on alcohol to get $50 off. The wait for rides from your room to different places some times were annoying and we would just walk up those huge hills. The staff were very pleasant and the rooms were nice. The ocean view was not on the ocean it was far up a hill that looked over most of the resort which we didn’t expect.

Pros: The beds are comfy. The staff are friendly. Drinks in the main building are good. The food is good. Cons: You have to catch a shuttle everywhere. It’s almost impossible to walk anywhere. I booked on the pretense of all inclusive for food and drinks. We were bamboozled by pool staff to purchase dinner on the beach. It rained so we had to eat on the terrace only to find the food we paid for was from the steakhouse which should have been included. Later found out the money went toward champagne for our table. (I would have appreciated the staff being upfront and not lying, which is why I’m upset) The coupon book was supposed to give money off for services but every time we booked something we were told we got a special and the coupons can’t be applied. We told the staff about our experiences and were offered an hour of the hydrotherapy but we were already receiving that per a letter in my room. My entire stay I felt taken advantage of and I will not be coming back.

The staff and service was amazing! I normally don’t write reviews however after reading some negative ones here I felt the need to share. From the second we arrived the staff was very attentive and helpful. Our rooms and bars stocked daily. Gray at the pool bar was the best!!! The event desk by the beach made sure we had every option and planned our days with ease. The spa was relaxing and one of the best massages I’ve had. We enjoyed a lot of pool time and watching Ronny, David and Carlos keep the crowd entertained was so much fun. I wish I could remember everyones name to make sure they knew they all had a part in making our stay special. I was apprehensive about this trip because I can be a bit of a hotel “snob” and have never booked inclusive for this reason. However I was not disappointed one bit. Recommend this stay to anyone looking for fun in the sun with lighthearted amazing staff to be surrounded by.

Great staff...Jose, Jorge, Jeffrey and Beni- so helpful so kind. All the staff but these mentioned I really connected with. The food was very tasty fresh and the service impeccable.

En general el hotel es muy bonito, la vista al golfo de papagayo es preciosa. Los cuartos con todas las necesidades y el buffet bastante bueno. Lo que nos decepciona de manera importante, fue la calidad de la comida de los restaurantes a la carta. Hay mejor comida en el buffet

When I booked a tour with phexperience, i left a package/souvenirs at the car, they were refusing to contact the driver and had no efforts to find it. Very disappointing integrity and service. We were given 2 double as oppose to king size bed with my husband. front desk staff was refusing to help

The resort was extremely clean and staff was wonderful .. There isn’t much to do in the evening..
