Great location and friendly staff. The lush grounds right next to the beach is hard to beat.
No access to drinking water. You have to go to the restaurant to get a bottle of water. The front desk does not help you. It is 95 degrees and you have to buy water! There was not a bottle of water to be seen in the room we stayed in. There is no water cooler anywhere in the hotel to get a drink. If you are thirsty after 10:00 pm, you can only drink tap water, which feels sketchy. We thought this was crazy in such a hot place. I'm happy to pay for bottled water, but I'd like access to it 24/7.
This property is an absolute treasure! Our room was beachfront, but very quiet and very secure, and immaculate. The jacuzzi tub was right on the deck but accessible from both the bathroom and the deck, but very private. The restaurant was excellent, the staff was first class. We would not hesitate one minute to return to this piece of paradise.
This was the third hotel we stayed at during our trip to Costa Rica and easily our least favorite (we loved the other 2). We expected more from the hotel given it's price and star ratings. Our room was clean and large but the overall experience was simply adequate. Lots of nickel and diming, they charge for everything including breakfast.
Very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, great surroundings, peaceful and close to the beach.
Great hotel practically inside Manuel Antonio Park
Loved Bosque del Mar. From the wonderful hospitality to the Howler Monkeys in the trees by the pool, spacious room and great restaurant - my husband and I really enjoyed our "birthday celebration" to Playa Hermosa and this small boutique hotel made it very special.
This place was spectacular! I had an ocean view suite and the room was fantastic. A lot of attention to detail was put into this hotel and it is definitely a well-cared for property. The staff was so friendly and the location was outstanding... Only a 25 minute drive from the airport in Liberia. The food was really good too. I can't express what a great place this is... I didn't want to go home! I definitely would love to come back to this hotel.
Great location --- right on the beach, but with nice shading. Playa Hermosa is a quiet, secluded beach. Staff was always very friendly. Room was extremely clean, new, fresh.
Clean hotel and the staff is very helpful. I only have good things to say about our stay there. I would definitely come back
