Stayed April 8-15 2017. Privately owned condo in a complex. unit # C410 on 4th floor with NO elevator. the place is big with 3 bedroom. 2 King size and 2 full size beds. (no queen beds as advertised). Fairly clean, but lots and lots of ants everywhere. Raid spray did not work to contain them. THIS PLACE HAS NO ADAQUATE WATER SUPPLY. on our first day we noticed no water in toilets and bleak water pressure in the shower. not enough water pressure most of the day and NO WATER (SHUT OFF) after 10 a.m. for hours at a time without any prior notice. every night when we came from the beach with sand all over, either there was no water at all or pressure was so low we could not wash ourselves. Complained the unit custodian or manager named Miller. so the first night he sends a plumber and for 2 hours he is trying to fix the toilets. Same thing happened 2 nights later. But there was nothing wrong with the plumbing. Miller claimed that due to dry season, this is a city wide (Coco Beach) issue. But we talked to 3 different families by the pool and they had no water issue!!! Also in town we talked to Canadian owner of a Mediterranean restaurant who lived behind our condo complex and he has not water issue either. We complained to Orbitz several times and they were totally useless. We paid more than $2300 for one week and they credited us only $200. They totally ruined our vacation. DO NOT STAY AT PACIFICO RESORT.

My sincere apologies for the inconveniences that supposedly you had in our spectacular condominium. Firstly, Costa Rica is one of the top ten countries in the treatment of the environment, for this reason is why in pacific resort we do not have elevators in the whole complex, we tried to leave the smallest impact against our appreciated nature, in addition you made the request in your previous reservation to be on top floor away from elevators Which nowhere in our listing mentions the existence of elevators. Our town is not a city that is why it makes it special and unique place, which is certified by the blue flag of the Costa Rican government because it is one of the cleanest beaches in the country. Leaves from the trees on the fields, This in Costa Rica is not dirty, we call it environment or mother nature. C410 pacific as it says at the listing is an ocean view, pacific c410 is not a beach front, pacific resort complex is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the beach which means we are less than 1/2 mile from it. We fumigate our unit once a month with environmentally friendly products, but fortunately we are a country in the middle of the tropic, we are a tropical country, there are many insects that we try to control but it is almost impossible, sometimes we find a few small and harmless ants in the condo, I'm sorry for this giant inconvenience. The low price of water was an issue beyond our control never before, we tried to help with the low water pressure but according to I understand, the water outage for a few hours were two days for that reason the discount that we made you. If some places in town did not have low water pressure, it is because individual houses and businesses have direct connection to the main pipeline, while large pacific complexes are connected from the same system but with hundreds of units to supply water.
