A suite complete with kitchen, living & donning area, bed room and toilet. Very comfortable for 2 people. Friendly and helpful staff. A grocery shop nearby with reasonable pricing. The property is within a very short distance from the OTrain station, giving easy access to major attractions in Ottawa. We enjoyed our stay here.

Unfortunately not very well cleaned since the last visitor and they had clearly let some food spoil for a long time in the fridge so it absolutely reeked and lingered on any food we put in there. If the cleaning was better between guests it would have been perfect.

Overall it was a good stay. The building is new and we'll maintained. Area was quiet, easily accessible to Little Italy neighborhood. On the down side, concierge is not always there, if they're not there, there's a number to call, but it's a phone number to the parent hotel in Toronto, and there's not much they can help with. We got in late at night and the lockbox to the key was jammed. We called the number provided and they couldn't do anything as there's no one they could send to assist. We ended up having to push and pull on the lockbox door for 20 minutes before it opened, it was very frustrating after a long drive. There was some hair underneath the bed sheets, but otherwise it was clean. Everything else was great.

Very luxe condo suite. Good location with some excellent restaurants nearby. Fairly central to most places by car. However, my suite M2, was directly above the parking garage door. Every car the entered and left required the garage door to open and close. The only time it was ever not doing that was between 2-6am. It was otherwise very quiet. If I was staying or more than 5 days, I would have asked to be moved to another suite or find somewhere else to stay.

Great Property, Poor Support from Expedia The property is in a quiet residential area, and both the building and the room were in excellent condition — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, we had to delay our stay by one day due to my wife breaking her leg. We contacted Expedia in advance to request a simple change to our check-in date. However, they were unhelpful, stating they needed to contact the property manager for approval. Despite this being a reasonable and timely request, Expedia failed to resolve the issue, and we ended up paying for an unused night. The stay itself was great, but the lack of flexibility and support from Expedia was disappointing.

Very Disappointing Stay

I recently stayed at the Soho Ottawa and was extremely disappointed with the experience from start to finish. First, the smell in our room was unpleasant and noticeable the moment we walked in. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, making it unsafe and messy to use. On top of that, the internet bandwidth was weak and unreliable, which was frustrating for even basic browsing. The room temperature was uncomfortably warm upon arrival, and we had to contact the concierge to reset the room thermostat before it would work properly. While this eventually fixed the issue, it was an inconvenience that should not have been necessary. We also had to call multiple times just to get replacement towels, which speaks to the lack of attention to guest needs. Overall, between the maintenance issues, poor amenities, and lack of responsive service, this was not the standard of quality or comfort one would expect at this price point

Pros: Great location and suite is spacious and clean. Cons: This is NOT a hotel. If you have a problem or issue, the "concierge" is only available during the day. In my case, there was an alarm in the hallway that went off intermittently which lead to some poor sleep during my stay. After 4 days, still not resolved. On the last day, building had a plumbing issue and there was no water. Again, unable to get any help as it was morning. Take your chances booking here; It's a great place when everything works, don't expect resolution when it doesn't.

This property is listed as a hotel but is not. It is a condo and set up more like an air bnb. It was far from clean when we arrived. Who knows when the sheets had last been washed. We washed the sheets as soon as we saw the makeup and eyelashes still in on the pillows and sheets in the guest room. In the primary, there looked to be bodily fluid stains on the bed. The sheets were dirty as well. I cleaned the kitchen when we got there as there were still crumbs everywhere and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks at least. I left a message and called the “emergency” number if concierge wasn’t available and never got a response. The price was in fact too good to be true.
