Good service, good food, pleasant staff. We would stay there again.

Spacious room with great view (12th floor), clean - tiny bathroom, but nice shower. Conference facilities were excellent - but the elevators were very slow at the best of times, so when many people were converging on a meeting or banquet at the same time, waiting for an elevator could be frustrating, and stairs were not an option. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Only one night . Clean room and gentle staff. Do not know about amenities because was a very short stay.

Everything was perfect but hotel over charged me and it took several phone calls to get my money back.

Hotel was very nice. Elevators were a bit slow but that's if I'm really being very picky. Very attractive lobby. Couldn't get adjoining rooms but we're across the hall from each other which was fine. Not enough area in front to park and unload or load baggage without rushing to let traffic pass

The Hotel was great. From the moment we were greeted by the parking lot staff till we left. The location is great with a short walk to Federal Building and restaurants. Public transportation was also easily expressible. The only draw back for me was that there was only paid parking. We had to use a parking garage around the corner for another $20 per day so build that into the price of the hotel. It is expected for a city hotel.

We came for the women's World Cup soccer and stayed for two days. Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing would be that the pool was too cold. We would come again.

My wife and I took a march getaway to Ottawa and stayed at the Delta. Location is excellent. Very accessible to the highway but most attractions including the mall, market and parliament were walkable. Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was plenty big for the two of us., but the bed was not tremendously comfortable. Only big negative was the hotel restaurant. Very expensive for tiny portions that were not very tasty. There are tons of places to eat within a five minute walk from the hotel, much more worthwhile to go that route. Overall I would say the hotel was a good experience though.

we were traveling to Ottawa for the Half Marathon event in May 2014. The hotel staff was really helpful regarding the event. They helped in different ways. The room was very nice and convenient.

Spacious room..excellent view...large TV... SMALL WASHROOM.... WIFI connection very good. Friendly staff. Stores near by. Coffee maker should be updated. Over all slightly above average for the price.

Beautiful room. Great view of the city. Heated floors in the bathroom!!! Absolutely beautiful layout in bathroom, especially for how small it was- good use of space. Pool is weird- outdated, weird lighting, sauna is cold, and shower/locker area is extremely outdated, dirty, and kind of scary... I wanted to take advantage of the amenities, but it did not feel relaxing at all in that part of the hotel at all. The lights buzzed, a shower was left on, and the tile is that weird green from the 80s and it needs a scrub. They really need to redo that area. Overpriced bar as per usual for hotels, but friendly staff there. Pay for parking. Free WiFi. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was in the perfect location and was a short walk to Parliament. Sadly the bathroom was tiny with a shower but no tub. The shower had a bad seal and after every shower left a mini flood. Tiny closet. On the positive, the decor was all modern and clean. The staff were wonderful. Sadly I won't be returning because I didn't nearly get the value of my dollar.

The Delta Ottawa is my favourite 4 star hotel in Ottawa. It's newly renovated in a contemporary, chic and airy style. The staff are bright, friendly and helpful. I ate at the restaurant twice during this trip to Ottawa, the Gnocchi was spectacular. I recommend this hotel for business, leisure or a romantic weekend.

The hotel is recently renovated, but still, the rooms have not been soundproofed… I could distinctly hear the conversation of the couple in the room beside mine. Also, the air conditioning system isn't sufficient… The sun in the room made is so warm (even with curtains closed and air conditioning at maximum) that I asked to change to another room. The woman at the reception was nice to let me change, but admitted this is a recurrent problem. So, not the best choice one can make.

We stayed at the Delta Ottawa City Center in August 2014 for a long weekend visit to the nation's capital. The location of the hotel is on the west end of Ottawa downtown, two blocks from the start of the Sparks Street pedestrian mall and the Supreme Court of Canada. Most of the key tourist destinations are about 10-15 minutes walk along Sparks in good weather. Byward Market is about 20-25 minutes walk, so if you are looking to bring provisions back to the hotel, take this into consideration (there aren't any markets nearby as far as we could tell). We had a double-double room which had a door to an adjoining room (Room 608, to be precise). The problem with this room is that there is extremely limited storage space. Aside from a couple of hangers in the closet with three shelves that were taken up by the coffee maker, kettle, provisions and cups, there is one open shelf under the desk for storing personal items. The four of us had to live out of the suitcase because it was just not possible to unpack at all. Compared to other North American hotels, the room and bathroom are quite small. There was one armchair and one desk chair in the room and that was about it for places to sit. The beds were comfortable and had lighting on the headboard for nighttime reading. There is a large LCD TV mounted on the wall with convenient hookups (A/V, HDMI and VGA). The alarm clock has a 30-pin dock connector for plugging in older iPhones and iPods. The staff at the hotel was what really made the positive difference for us. The front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. They offered tips on things to do and where to get things around the city. The chef of the restaurant set up a demonstration table in the lobby with frozen yogurt desserts in the afternoon. We were always greeted coming and going from the hotel -- which is always a nice touch.

Even though its not one of the chains that I would know for luxury etas, this is a 4 Star Hotel in a great location, easy walking distance to the Historic Parliament Buildings.

Its was perfect! Well located in ottawa close the the parlarment and the market. Just sad that the patio was reserve for a private event and no fridge in the room, but the rest was perfect.

I've been staying in hotels every year I visit Ottawa since 2001. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. Although there was a wedding this week end, for the first time I never heard any noises from my room.

I've stayed here a few times. Positives: Very nice rooms for price Business center internet speed excellent Parking rates very reasonable Staff very helpful Not so positive : Some rooms EXTREMELY tiny bathroom -like step outside to dry yourself after a shower WIFI in room soooooo slloooooow No inroom movies

we have been ther just one night. enough to choose the same hotel for the next time in Ottawa!
