The valet service is the only eay you can park at the hotel. It is subpar in every respect, always understaffed and crowded. I had them book an appointment to have my car parked out front 3 hours in advance, and they missed it by 15 minutes. There was no in room dining menu, and some of the items on the menu werent available to order anymore.

Hotel had a lovely castle-like feel to it, however … there’s a charge for using the tv! The windows in the stairwell & window-sills were dirty, and the room we had was very small.

Great location walking distance to so many things! Just careful with the valet parking the staff was amazing however its busy we waited quite a bit for our vehicle. They took care of my valet bill however so at least they understood. One of the best hotels ive stayed at!

I was on room 336. It had a weird smell like pi from a dog next to one of the beds. The bathroom was not clean and the shower wall had mold. I paid too much for a “Parlament View”, but it was a small window facing practically the street and I needed to put my face on the dirty glass to see a little bit of the parliament. I have been more than 20 times in Ottawa, and for less expensive prices I had better rooms, and service.

A lovely exterior and lobby with incredibly friendly staff, however there was hardly any drinking/filtered water in the rooms, and it was easier to just buy them rather than request it from the hotel. The mattress and pillow quality was terrible. Location is highly convenient and overall not the worst experience but also below expectations.

Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The ambience and charm combined with the age and the upkeep make this a truly special hotel. Right near the Byward Market and the parliament buildings. Lots of restaurants to choose from.
