The valet service is the only eay you can park at the hotel. It is subpar in every respect, always understaffed and crowded. I had them book an appointment to have my car parked out front 3 hours in advance, and they missed it by 15 minutes. There was no in room dining menu, and some of the items on the menu werent available to order anymore.

Beautiful vue on the Parliament for room on rideau canal side. Vehicles traffic on boulevard beside the hotel is noisy for room on street side. Parliament is under huge renovation, lots of cranes and scaffoldings, it's a pity for the view...

My stay at the Fairmont was amazing. The room was quite comfortable, the pool and work out areas were amazing, the coffee shop was delightful each morning and the grounds surrounding the hotel were spectacular. Th only down side is if you have to valet. It took me over an hour one day to get my car and the next day, the app said it would be 45 minutes but i did get it at about 30 minutes. Just be prepared to request it early.

Very smooth check in and receptionist was so helpful and attentive, helped us check in few hours earlier which is a great help. Facilities are not new but has everything, don't think they have any vanity kit. Bathroom shower space is so small, you might bump into the wall or shower door.

Amazing historic property right in the centre of Ottawa. The rooms were quite disappointing, rundown with peeling wallpaper, old, tired lamps and scuffed leather chairs. The hotel itself was amazing. However, the rooms were quite a letdown.
