May 19- 26 Stayed in a 2 bedroom resort condo - near the pool - it was fantastic week - Close to all attractions- on the same grounds as 2 other Marriott Vacation Resorts - but we were thankful to be a Sabel Palms - tucked in the back - quiet area - the pool was walk in warm and never crowded - Office staff very pleasant and helpful - The condo had everything we needed - fully supplied kitchen, washer/dryer - double/Twin bed in one room - King in the other w/huge walk in shower. We would go back! - Loved it - absolutely no complaints!
I stayed here the first week of June with my wife and two grown daughters. We were in town to move my youngest daughter to Orlando because she received a job from the Disney Corp. The unit was fantastic! It was very clean and spacious and I loved the layout. The master suite was awesome. It was very large and it had a great shower. The living areas (kitchen, dinning room and living room) were nice in size and were very comfortable. The patio was screened in and gave a nice view of the golf course. We used the pool one day, which was very nice, but we also could have used all of the pools at the World Center as well. The World Center was a five minute walk from our unit, but they also ran shuttles to and from the Sable Palms lobby. Over all this place rates very high and I would stay here again. The staff were very friendly and the grounds were very well maintained. Another huge plus is that it is located right outside of Disney if that is what you are in town for.
We stay at many different resorts and we have found this to be a new favorite. Check in was quick and easy and the villa we had was ideal. It was clean quiet and comfortable.Loved the shower. We had a short walk to the World Center which was a fun visit with a party atmosphere. We happened to be there to see the poolside fireworks display which was excellent. The grounds and landscaping are beautiful.
I stayed here with my 16 year old son, during a Playlist Live convention over at the World Center Marriott. The Sabal Palms was a perfect retreat from all the crazy noise at the World Center. The villa was perfect, 2 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen and even a washer and dryer. The master bath has a huge walk in shower with side water jets! Lots of extra blankets and pillows, along with plenty of towels. Our room was the closest to the World Center, but felt like we were a thousand miles away, because it was quiet and peaceful, unlike the mass amounts of people at the World Center.
Lets start on a positive the rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. However there is a fault i the design the Master bedroom has a light outside the bathroom "for safety" but if you need a dark room to sleep in this place is not for you the light coming into the bedroom is so bright you can see everything in the room. So as your laid there trying to sleep but struggling due to the light the noise from the nearby road becomes a huge irritant. I recommend Tylenol PM only way I got to sleep on the second night. The pool is adequate but the music choice and lack of facilities i.e. no bar service make it just that " adequate" Oh and nearly forgot Check out is at 10am but nobody bothers telling you this until you get a snotty phone call at 10:45 asking why you are still in the room!!
Our accommodation at Marriott's Sabal Palms has really exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchenette had everything we could possibly need for a fortnight stay. We didn't really cook much, but appreciated the facilities and space in the living/dining room. True home from home. We made full use of washer/dryer during our stay. The location of Sabal Palms is superb and in close proximity to the theme parks, which was our main reason for visiting Orlando with our daughter. We appreciated the good wifi signal in our apartment and managed several video calls to speak to family overseas. Apart from the swimming pool and gym, which my husband loved, we hardly used any other facilities of nearby World Center, as we were often out and about, but would not hesitate to do so. We are Marriott Vacation Club owners, but this was our first time of using our time share. We fell in love with Orlando and would love to return to Sabal Palms soon.
We stayed here with our 4 children for Spring Break. Our main purpose for coming to Orlando was to visit Universal Studios and Disney World. The location of these villas is very close to Disney property, and we found it very quick and easy to get to and from the parks. The villa was immaculate, and very spacious. The full kitchen was very convenient for us to have meals and snacks. There is a washer and dryer in the room, which we used to do laundry several times. Housekeeping came to the room every day to tidy up and bring fresh towels. We used both the Sabal Palms pool, and the World Center pool, and enjoyed both. The World Center pool has 3 large slides that our older children really enjoyed. We never had an issue finding chairs at either pool. We found zero faults with our room, or this property. It was quiet, clean, and an example of why we love the Marriott brand. We all agreed that this villa is our new go-to in Orlando.
Accommodations were nice and quiet. We liked the set up of the two bedroom unit. Rooms were spacious and had everything needed. There was a full sized mattress and a twin as well in the second bedroom. This set up worked for us. Tiled, walk in shower in the master. Kitchen was well equipped. We did not use any other amenities as we were there to visit the Disney Parks. It was close to all the parks and convenient. View out of the living room and master bedroom were of a golf course and a small water feature. It was beautiful and very peaceful. We saw several types of birds there, like herons. View from the second bedroom was a courtyard with a kids playground. There are a few steps in the unit down to the living room and up to the bathroom in the master, if that is a concern.
Marriott's Sable Palms is an excellent place to stay. All units are two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, washer, dryer and many amenities. All units have recently been refurbished and are beautiful. The master bedroom has a large walk in shower with overhead and side jets. It's adjacent to Marriott's World Center. You have access to the World Center pools, fitness center and spa along with all restaurants, tennis, volleyball courts and other amenities. I would highly recommend this facility. Just minutes from theme parks.
We planned our trip to Orlando to take friends to Universal City. In doing so we searched the area for places to stay and because we are owners in the Marriott Vacation Club, it left us with several choices, all good! We settled on Marriotts Sabal Palms! Great choice, of course it's a Marriott! I requested a villa in the first floor and near the pool, and I also requested an 'early check in' if possible because I wasn't sure what time the four of us would arrive. We did arrive early, actually at 10:30am, normal check in would be 4pm! It's a Marriott so our Villa was ready upon our arrival! The Villa was spacious, clean and not only near the pool AND on the first floor, but also faced the Golf Course (a Bonus!). As we checked the unit a light on the steps from the bedroom to the huge, huge bathroom was kind of dim. We contacted maintenance and almost as soon as we hung up, a man was there to replace a brighter bulb. Parking was a breeze, right near our Villa. By staying at Sabal Palms we not only had our own swimming pool but access to the HUGE POOL next door, where all the fancy pool stuff was if we wanted to join a huge crowd. After spending the next day at Universal City, about 9 mi minutes away, we came back only to learn that there was a 'laser light and music show" at the large pool every night at 9 pm! AWESOME! We went to that and enjoyed every minute and will return every night we are able. (Tip: keep this in mind if you go there, it's fantastic and not too crowded I will attempt to added a few pictures to help you get an idea of how great it really was, but the photos do not do it justice. It's fantastic! Because we are Marriott Owners we have visited many of their Timeshares, this is a great one! Feel comfortable choosing this resort!
