We enjoyed two weeks here in the beautifully renovated suites in contemporary designs and colours. The suites are large and well equipped, the gas grills work well and are cleaned daily and there's lots of parking close to every unit. Each building is two floors and upper units are easily accessible with stairs. (no elevatores). We found the pool area at the resort noisey with acompanying parents often oblivious to how loud others found their screeching kids to be. Fortunately there is a quiet pool a short walk away at the Marriott World Centre. We visited the World Center but never ate there as the prices are quite steep. As a word of caution, if you enjoy using the screened in porch, do not accept a suite backing onto I-4 which is very close and loud. Motorcycles with no mufflers, and semis using their air brakes often drown out any form of conversation often rendering the porch unuseable.

My wife, daughters and in-laws recently stayed at this property and it was wonderful. The villa was wonderful and had plenty of space. A pack and play and a high chair were delivered to our room for my youngest daughter free of charge. We were able to take a 10 minute Uber/Lyft ride to all of the Disney parks and it was much more convenient than taking the bus at the world center. It was very quite and relaxing after a long day at Disney. We would definitely stay here again.

A very quiet 2-story resort, large living space and master suite bedroom, and a comfortable second bedroom with 2 beds and access to bathroom. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and enjoyed the resort pool almost by ourselves on a daily basis, with temperatures in the 80s everyday. Grills are new and very functional. We were very pleased with our room overlooking the golf course and the easy access to other areas of Orlando. Will definitely try to return to this report in the future.

This hotel is part of a large Marriott complex, which includes the Royal Palms and the Marriott World Center. We spent two nights here, while going to Universal Studios, which is about 20 minutes away. Our villa overlooked the golf course and pond. It was quiet and comfortable, with a spacious living/dining area, full kitchen, and two bedrooms with baths. The master bedroom featured a huge shower with multiple jets. This particular villa was on two levels, with stairs between the master bedroom and bath, and down from the kitchen to the living/dining area. This wouldn't be ideal for all visitors. Some design notes: the master bathroom has a very small enclosed toilet area, but the spacious double sink area is open to the bedroom. The shower has a glass brick wall, which allows a lot of light to come into the bedroom from the outside after dark. The property includes a swimming pool and hot tub, and tennis courts, but we didn't have time to use them, as check-in was at 4PM and check-out was at 10AM. With a full day at Universal, our time at the hotel was limited. This hotel has no restaurant, but they provide a free on-demand shuttle to the World Center, which has four restaurants, an outdoor bar/grill and a marketplace for takeout food. Visitors also have full use of the World Center's spectacular pool, waterslides, and other amenities.

Me and a colleague stayed in a two bed villa prior to our works conference. I am a Marriott Platinum card holder and Vacation Club owner so all looked good! . Upon arrival the reception looked a bit like a motel ... gulp ... the Marketplace was actually just a few fridges behind reception, the pool was small with a vending machine for towels and no bar ... ! However ... the villa is fantastic, well appointed, great space and views over the golf course. The rooms, kitchen, showers all fantastic .. fabulous villa. ! That coupled with that is only a 5 min walk around to the Marriott World Resort with everything you could possibly wish for and fantastic pools / slides / restaurants and bars etc totally made up for the dated reception of Sabal Palms !. Overall ... yes would go back !

This is the 3rd time my family has stayed at the villas in Sabal Palms (my in-laws own a 2-bedroom timeshare). We stayed for 7 days during the week of Presidents' Day. The villas have been through a recent remodeling and I must say that we were impressed with the udpates! The decor and amenities have greatly improved since our previous stay about 5 years ago and we look forward to returning again. Hotel: This is a large hotel designed for business travelers attending corporate conferences, as well as families on holiday. There is a massive pool with water slides, plenty of shaded lounge chairs, and a fun nightly laser show with large screens featuring movies and/or sports entertainment. Our middle-school aged kids were able to help themselves to snacks, dinners and frozen yogurt at the casual eatery/store onsite (called the Pantry). They actually have wine on tap at the Pantry but never tried. My son and husband enjoyed their time on the driving range. Didn't have a chance to use the spa, but it did have an extensive menu of spa/salon services. Villa/Sabal Palms: The villas are located onsite at the World Center Marriott, giving us access to all the hotel facilities. The villas have been refreshed with modern decor. We had a small, functional kitchen which we used for breakfast and lunch preparation. 3 tvs, each with free on-demand programming. The tv in the living room had a blu-ray player. A nice screened-in porch with a views of the grounds. A high capacity washer and dryer with detergent already provided. Sabal Palms also has their own fitness center, pool and arcade (fooseball, Xbox and Playstation games). Beds are very comfortable. My only gripe with the villa (which is important) is that there was no wall to separate the bathroom from the master bedroom, making it one continuous space. This meant that my husband, who is an early riser, woke me up with his electrical toothbrush every morning. The shower area (which has no door) steamed up the bedroom. And my teen daughter, who occasionally used our bathroom to shower, had to lock the bedroom door to use the shower, thereby blocking our entire access to the master suite. An unnecessary inconvenience that will hopefully be fixed in the next scheduled remodeling. Housekeeping: We paid extra for daily housekeeping. They did a nice job tidying the place (some minor issues such as forgetting to clean the coffee maker on a couple of days, but not a big deal). We did have a lady from housekeeping stop by almost daily every afternoon to ask if our housekeeping was satisfactory. While we appreciated the resort's attentiveness to housekeeping service, these constant check-ins began to feel intrusive. One afternoon, the lady rang our doorbell in a rapid, frantic succession and then barged in before I had a chance to answer the ring -- and all just to ask if I was satisfied with housekeeping...a request that she could have simply and more conveniently performed over the phone. Overall: The resort is large, well-maintained and will keep the kids entertained. Room service is not provided to the villas, but I noticed that my Uber Eats app displayed several restaurant options that delivered (did not try out). The resort is within minutes from Disney, and a 20 minutes drive from Universal. We look forward to returning to Sabal Palms in the near future.

Sabal Palms are villas with view of Hawk's Landing golf course at neighbor Marriott World Center resort. Each villa has a kitchen, you also have two whirlpool spas, health club, store, use of the amenities at Marriott's World Center Resort.

This must be one of the original Marriott Timeshares, given the design and small size. But it has been recently remodeled, and, as with all Marriott's, has great staff and amenities. The World Center is adjacent to it's an easy walk to the big pool complex and the luxury amenities.

We stayed here Jan 20-27, 2018. Villa recently refurbished. Bed linens very nice and wonderful down pillows (you can request non-down). We were attending a conference at the Marriott conference center, so we requested unit close to main Marriott. That means our unit was very close to the spa at the big Marriott. Easy 5 minute walk to conference center. We rented a car from Hertz on-site and used it to go to Disney (less than 5 minutes to Main gate) and to Publix (approx 3 miles). We paid $284 a night for 2 nights and $380/night during the conference. Great value! Unit is big 2 bedroom, 2 bath with 9 foot ceilings in master and living. There are 2 steps down into living room and 2 steps up to master bath. Full size washer and dryer with stainless tubs. We usually stay at Disney villas, but this was so close and so nice and so much cheaper that we will stay here next time! The last Disney villa we had was a 2 bedroom at Beach Club and it was over a thousand a night. Also the unit was spotless and it felt like a very safe and quiet area.

The villas are well appointed and provide all the needed amenities. In addition one has access to all the Marriott facilities as well as a shuttle but to the main hotel. Housekeeping does an excellent job and the staff is friendly and helpful.
