Midway Point
We chose Richard's place both for the location and number of bedrooms. There was plenty of room for our large group with two bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. There are two hang out areas inside which are open to one another but far enough apart to hold seperate conversations.
It is minutes from the San Mateo Bridge leading west and freeways leading east. We were just over half an hour away from South San Francisco, Half Moon Bay and the Tri-Valley, all of which were destinations during our stay.
Richard was responsive and accomodating to our requests. The price was very reasonable for a place that accomodated so many people.
There is plenty of parking in the garage, in the driveway and on the street.
The kitchen is small and cabinets are dated, but it is functional and well stocked. All appliances are full sized and worked well, including a washer and dryer.
Our only real con was the lack of towels in the 3 baths. There was 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person. We were told therecwere more towels in closets, but we never found them. Hand towels were missing and only 1 bath had a bath rug to step out into after a shower.
Overall, we highly recommend this place and owner.
