Really nice hotel, staff is hospitable and helpful. I would stay there again. Breakfast was perfect.

Only bad thing about the room is that you were ablE to see the light from outside and matress was a little hard

Nice place to stay while visiting friends in the East Bay

We had a nice stay and especially liked the free loaner bicycles.

Room was clean and quiet. Not much noise from neighboring rooms or hall. Good breakfast. Easy access to freeway to Oakland and San Francisco.

Free continental breakfast, above expected quality and great room for the price

Great location next to the Oakland airport. Convenient if you're attending oracle arena and/or need to fly out the next day. Clean and spacious rooms and clean showers.

I've loved all Hampton Inns that we've stayed at. Always comfortable, great beds, clean and the breakfast is wonderful. Makes this a great value. This hotel was close to the airport and a great place to stay on an overnight layover. We loved it.

It was close to the airport which was my purpose. I could have stayed some place else and been closer to the "action", but I like the Hampton's, The shuttle was usful for transport including out for dinner to nearby locations. (They should put that in their information as I had to call them to find it out.) I have stayed at other Hampton's numerous times before and have always been satisfied. They have bicycles which they will loan to guests, so bring your helmet and enjoy the open areas around ther, go out for lunch or dinner, and get a little exercise in the process. BART is nearbyand coming to the airport 11/2014.

The room was big, comfortable, and had a clean, modern look to it. Not like something slightly tacky from the 80's, like most hotels in this price range. Close to the Oakland airport. Staff was very helpful. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again.

Room was smaller than we expected (and had at previous Hampton). 2 queen beds were fine. Did not have a fridge, but staff allowed us to keep some leftovers in their refrigerated storage. Good pool and good free breakfast like most Hamptons. Note that hotel is near an active runway - would recommend getting a room facing east (away from runway) as we did - jet noise was not bad.

Good location for a meeting esp. if you want to me near the airport. Problems: No food anywhere nearby so you are compelled to have or rent a car in order to eat. The shuttle service cannot be counted on. I was left stranded at the airport for over 40 minutes when the shuttle is "only 15 minutes" away (causing me to miss dinner.) On weekends apparently they "share" shuttle service with another hotel or hotels and it becomes even less reliable, so if it's important do not count on it. Staff still very good, but around the shuttle issue there is quite a bit of slippage. I guess because this is a management imposed deficit, all they can do is field endless complaints about which they can no nothing. So I am less enthusiastic than my previous review. Still, it's new, clean, the rooms are solidly comfortable, and overall the staff is a first rate group of people.

I've probably stayed in over 500 hotels in the last too many years. This one has one of the very best staffs I've ever encountered. In fact, off hand I can't remember a better one. Cheerful, helpful, capable. Wow! Whoever is doing the hiring is a genius. These are great folks. Location is great if you need to be near the airport. Not so great for food though. You need a car though the hotel does have a shuttle bus. You can do your own laundry here which for someone who spends long times on the road is a godsend.

I've been at this hotel several times for business in the Alameda area. I've always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. There is a buffet breakfast with both cold and hot items, which is complimentary and tasty. The surrounding area has nice views of the Bay, and is quiet and relaxing. You need a rental car as there is little in the way of public transportation near by.

This was a good experience at a good price. I would stay at this property again.

I used this hotel as I was in town to see a event at the coliseum. I found the room clean and quiet. They have a nice breakfast in the morning. The staff was very helpful. I left my wallet in the room, and they overnited it to Portland,Or. for me when asked to. They also have a security gard that patrols the premises, couldn't ask for more. I will use them any time I am in town.

The eggs were too dry and made into tiny little pieces. They need help.

We found this hotel to be clean and hospitable and our weeks stay was very enjoyable. We were visiting family in the area and found it to be conveniently located to them and other activities in the area by car. If you don't have a car, it could be quite isolated. They provide a very adequate breakfast bar and the beds are very comfortable. Even though it is close to the airport we were never aware of any air traffic noise. We would definitely plan to stay here again.

Quick check-in. Room was on the top floor - very clean and quiet - no outside or airport noise.

A great place to stay. If you like the Oakland Raiders there headquarters are just down the street. An A's game is also not to far away. The room was clean and quite. Staff allowed me early check in which was nice since I had arrived before it was time to check in. What would help out would be to provide a shuttle to the sporting events.
