The only thing I didn't like is that your advertisement says you have a pool and that's not true. The pool and jacuzzi in doors were the main reason I choice this hotel but all in all the stay was very nice.

The staff was horrible they charged my credit card 400 for a 229 dollar room

Comfortable bed, quiet room. Easy to get too off the freeway. Will stay again if using Oakland Airport.

Stayed here just 1 night after a Golden Warriors game and prior to heading to Napa. Room was nice size and clean. Comfortable beds.

Our experience was just okay. Nothing to brag about. We needed a bed to sleep on after a wedding and the hotel served its purpose. Very overpriced. Staff was not friendly. I do not think I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

We've choosen this hotel as a family of four for our 3 day San Francisco explore trip. The reason for choosing this hotel was the fact that it was a good alternative for a hotel right in San Francisco. To pay once a day a 5 USD fee for the Oakland Bay Bridge and having a real good, clean and quiet hotel with free parking, breakfast and spa was the best decision we took. There are also a bunch of restaurants in walkind distance Anytime again!

The over all stay was very pleasant! My birthday roadtrip went well mostly with the comfortable beds and free breakfast/dinning. The spa and fitness were pretty well sized for the size of the hotel and the staff was very helpful, I stayed the weekend of the Gold Cup Tournament and couldn't watch the game on the tv which was the only bummer but not a big deal. Recommended stay!

It was a good experience all the way around. Room was very nice!

I have relatives in Alameda and so wanted to stay on the island. This is very conveniently located in the town and was clean, welcoming and suited our needs perfectly. It was also very reasonably priced. It's certainly not "luxurious" but that's not what we were looking for.

Outstanding visit, beauty stay! Very nice location.

Wonderful staff, great breakfast, very roomy. Only downside was the poor water pressure for the shower on the third floor. Great location for access to Oakland and highways. Enjoyed our stay.

we arrived around midnight. the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Nice sized room, cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Hotel overall is very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking was great, free breakfast was convenient, though not very hot or flavorful. Hotel is only about 15 minutes from Oakland airport, extremely convenient. I would absolutely stay in this hotel in the future.

We went to Alameda this past weekend to do some house hunting and decided to stay at Hawthorn Suites because of the location and the cost. The complementary breakfast was good and included eggs, bacon or sausage (different each day), pancakes, and a waffle maker. The location is right in the old downtime of Alameda, and on Tuesdays and Saturdays there is a really nice farmers market just up the street within walking distance. Overall, the only downsides were that the room got a bit warm (no AC), and the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.

If I wold go to San Francisco again I wold go back to this hotel.

It was all we expected it to be, we were very satisfied

This was a nice stay. The rooms are good size and very clean. The breakfast buffet is above average. A little tricky to find the first time off the highway but lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff very helpful

Overall the location & cleanliness is very good. The only drawback on my last day my key didnt work & the cleaning lady is not helpful & I really need to use the bathroom in my room in the 3rd fl.I hve to wait for the elevator to go down to the receptionist to fix my room key. The breakfast is ok it run out of hot water & nobody could help the guest bec nobody is in the kitchen to refill what is needed Good parking & on Saturday they have farmers mkt right in frnt of the hotel. Bus stop is few steps away & a lot of eating area near the hotel.

The Hotel was clean and within walking distance to many local restaurants. Free parking was a plus considering many of Hotels in the area charge $20-$25 for daily parking. Free hot and cold breakast was included which saved on eating out. The only downside was the plumbing was a little loud and woke me up every morning when other guest were showering in the am. Not good if you like to sleep in or are a light sleeper.

Clean hotel, room. Linens were fresh. Staff was pleasant. Can't complain.
