Booked this hotel for a one night stay with a friend of mine for a business trip. Unfortunately, the day before my stay, I was hospitalized and wasn’t able to make the trip. They weren’t able to give me a refund as I called 3 hrs after the 24hr cancellation policy. OK, so my friend showed up to the hotel and called them about parking as she didn’t see any upon arrival. They told her to find parking on the street and hung up on her. Yes, cause everyone loves parking on some random street blocks away in the middle of Queens NY. She wasn’t comfortable staying there so she ended up leaving. Called Expedia (who were great trying to handle the situation on our behalf by the way) and it took them a while to contact the hotel as they were being ignored as well. At the end of it all, they refused to refund my money or compensate us in any way. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone based on customer service alone.

The actual property is nothing like the pictures. It is in a very bad part of town and no parking on site. Horrible part of town and must park your car and walk several blocks. Wife and I called from JFK airport around midnight to make reservations and showed up within the hour. Upon arrival we could not find any parking. We tried calling the hotel to get instructions as to where to park and received no answer. After several attempts to get ahold of the hotel we ended up having to find a different hotel. This hotel charged us for the room and refused to refund the money citing the fact we no showed.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and solely due to the awful staff that run it. The cleanliness and sanitation were bad to the point we decided to shower with our flip flops on. They kept giving us dirty rooms. We had to sit there and watch them change the sheets to clean ones because we couldn’t trust their cleaning after being taken to 3 dirty rooms. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional to us and abusive to the housekeeping staff. I had to sit there and hear her scream at the staff and speak to them in a very demeaning way. She had the same tone and attitude with us. It was the worst customer service experience I’ve had. The front desk staff had the nerve to order and demand me, not kindly request, for me to speak to housekeeping in Spanish because I’m bilingual to provide instructions on cleaning the room. Our checking in experience was so bad, we tried to cancel the reservation and move to a different hotel but we wouldn’t get a refund. Luckily, we only had to stay for 1 night for a lay over in JFK. We did not read the reviews prior to staying and went by it having several stars. However, once we got there and went through an ordeal, we started reading the reviews. I have no doubt that everything bad that has been written about this hotel is true. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very nice place, clean and confortable rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. i went there with a group of 40 people, teens and adults, we booked 10 double-beds double rooms for 10 nights. The staff even offered us a $500 discount, which was highly appreciated.

I booked this hotel because Priceline listed it as a 4 star... it's more like a handheld firework. Why, oh why did I not check trip advisor first!! I tried to keep an open mind as I went to the desk to check in and had to make my way around 2 CLEARLY homeless people that had set up shop in the lobby but that proved to be my mistake. My first room was DIRTY. I went back downstairs for another and the second smelled like a cigar bar. I went down (again) to report this because I had JUST signed something noting a $700 fee for smoking in the room and did NOT want to be charged. The front desk person came up with air freshener, not a room change, not a price comp, a can of Glade... Upon further inspection, I noted the following: There were old cigarette butts on the balcony, the room had only 1 light, there was no vent cover in the bathroom, no remote control for the television, no cups/glasses for water and no housekeeping available for fresh linens. In fact, the ONLY person on duty was the front desk person. Because I had already paid for the room and it was after midnight, I stayed. I looked for other rooms in the area for the remainder of the weekend and was kicking myself for canceling my reservation at the Fairfield Marriott where I cna at least expect a certain level of cleanliness and service. So here I was, stuck in this hell hole. I put towels on the bed and slept for a few hours. I asked for fresh linens bright and early, even offering to change the sheets myself. 5 hours later I got nothing. I finally cornered a member of the housekeeping staff on her way out that afternoon and got some sheets. When I aksed about the remote control I was told they were ALL broken and that I should get up to change the channels manually (HA!). The BEST part of that was there was no way to get out of the general menu on the TV without the remote control so I couldn't change the channel, the volume or ANYTHING at all! When the weekend was over checkout was uneventful. However, when I got home I found an additional charge on my card from Hotel 95. I've called 7 times yet no one can tell me what I was charged was for. I then sent an email with a screenshot of my card statement (as directed) and heard nothing back. My follow up phonecall was answered by probably the RUDEST employee on the planet who was unable to give me contact information for a supervisor, manager or corporate office! In general I am pissed off and will be visiting my bank today to dispute charges but something needs to be done about this place! I paid "Hilton" prices for a "Motel 6" knock off THEN got hit with a "Waldorf Astoria" charge! Complete and total BS

Hotel < 1-year old. Room utilitarian. Mattress & pillows are on the soft side. No dresser drawers. Large TV; few channels. Bath towels skimpy. Call front desk to use mini-split system thermostat. Complimentary breakfast sparse. Dried eggs, no breakfast meats. The donuts were hard and stale. Interesting odor (you can guess what that is) in commons areas. ​

I would not call this hotel NEW! It is a great stay near the airport for convenience of that but for a relaxing stay in the city I maybe would not want to stay here since it's a bit of a subway ride in and out of the city. It's doable which we did but it was more for the proximity of the airport. Everyone there was extremely nice and the rate was good. It was a safe area and just around the corner from the Air train to JFK. I do need to say that the floor in the room was absolutely filthy. I had to get a wet rag from the bathroom and wipe the floors so we could walk and our feet not be covered in dirt. The bathroom was not cleaned. The shower was full of hair in the tub and on the walls from the last person. The sink had hair in it and all over the counter. I had to wipe all of this down prior to using the bathroom. The light fixture was wrapped in plastic wrapping which is not a good idea. The lamps had so many layers of dust like it had never been cleaned. The floor at the nightstand had lots of dust and food and things from other guests like it had never been cleaned back there. You need to plug your phones in so it's hard not to have seen this. They need to be better about cleaning the floors and cleaning back behind this nightstand where people are sleeping right next to it. They DO NOT have bugs but if you leave food back there on the floor you could get them. Please clean the floors and bathrooms better! Otherwise it was very quiet and we probably would stay here again for the proximity to the station.

A somewhat long review. Disgusting. Never again. I arrived. The front lady desk was extremely rude right off the bat. I tell her I paid already with hotels.com, she says I must prove to her with a bank statement. I knew when I booked it came out of my account yet a few days later it was returned. Apparently to get out of a booking fee it seems they charge you at the desk for it to keep from paying the fee since my card had been charged previously. I give my card go to the room and the entire hotel reeks of marijuana. There is old food on the walls. The bathroom ceiling has fallen down and completely soaked the towels. There is a man sleeping in the lobby who smells at 2 am. It was disgusting. I doubt the beds were clean. I will never EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. RUDE SERVICE. DISGUSTING ROOMS.

Its a new hotel , i found it neat and clean but the heating system is not working. I complain in the reception but they did not fix it.The water supply in the toilet also very slow. they provided very few complimentary soap and shampoo. The room size also quite small.There is no closet or coat hanger in the room.The free wifi also not working properly.Only good thing about this hotel is the complementary breakfast is good

I arrived at Hotel Ninety-Five after traveling for 30 hours from Indonesia, and upon arrival, they told me that my credit card didn’t go through and they had already given up my room, but that they would be putting me up at their other location at the Wingate which was right around the corner. As I was extremely exhausted from my travels, I did not make a fuss about this move. I paid for the other room with another card, only to find out they did charge my first card for the room I DID NOT STAY IN AND WAS THEIR FAULT FOR CANCELING. The room at the Wingate (so it was called 2 month ago and has apparently since changed?) and the floors were disgusting; there was clearly no maid service in the room I was first given, and they had to move me to another room. The floors were so sticky in the hallway that it made it difficult to walk on. I tried to patiently deal with customer service about the double charge TO WHICH THEY ADMITTED and had to file a dispute with my credit card company. They are so dodgy, and they told my credit card company that I had canceled so they charged me. I WAS THERE ON THE DAY I SPECIFIED FOR MY ARRIVAL!!!!!!!!!!! They are scam artists and deserve to be shut down. If I could give zero stars I would.
