Close to airport, easy access from road. Quick trip to downtown from this hotel. Disappointed because we thought there was an indoor pool, only outdoor pool.. photos misleading.

the house cleaning staff were so helpful and friendly. the rooms needed remodel. especially the bathrooms

The property is aging fast; Carpets in so-so condition. Fixtures not so good.

Convenient location close to interstate. Easy check in.

The hotel is located in a great location - near many retail stores and highway IH-10. A fantastic restaurant with Top Chef provides great Cajun options. The hotel staff was super friendly. The facility is a bit old but overall it was a comfortable stay.

The Lobby is very deceiving. The lobby is beautiful and looks very modern and fresh. However, the room was horrible. The carpet was nasty. There was spiderwebs in the ceilings. The bathroom ceiling looked like it had been patched several times. The refrigerator had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. There was an odor in the hallway. The ceilings were so low. Need major upgrades. Then to top it off, rooms are only cleaned upon request. They don't automatically clean the room and bring clean linen. First and last stay!!!

The sofa bed where our kids would sleep on did not have sheets or blankets. We called twice the front desk requesting them and they never brought them to our room. The building is old, the shower head, shower handle was loose, and the shower edges had mold.

Had a nice stay! Very neat and clean. Would recommend to anyone

Got to the hotel a little late - front desk was awesome and the room was nice and clean. Uber to the French Quarter was $12 and quick each way.

Staff was friendly, we did park & fly. It was not as close to the airport was we thought, and had to take a cab to the airport at 530am. Overall, it was good.

As a guest who has stayed at this facility about 6 times in the past 18 months, I can usually say without hesitation to stay at this hotel. It has a great central location and tons of free parking. We have stayed here many times over the past two years and have never been disappointed until our most recent stay. First, we booked two rooms. When we returned late in the afternoon after our first night's stay, one room's door was ajar (we assumed the housekeeping staff was still there). Unfortunately, the door was just left opened. The housekeeping staff had taken the dirty towels and replaced only the bath mat. In this room, the beds were not made, no cleaning was done and the trash cans were still full. The second room: trash cans were unemptied, the beds unmade, no replacement of the cups, no cleaning of the bathroom, although we did get fresh towels. When checking out early the next morning, I mentioned this to the reception desk clerk. She said "gee, that's not the way it's supposed to be, I'll check in with housekeeping later and find out what happened." That didn't get our room cleaned . . . She made no mention of speaking to the manager or even to apologize. I'm hoping this was a one time fluke. As mentioned before, usually we are very content with the quality of the service and the cleanliness of the room and the helpfulness of the staff. This time they really dropped the ball.

My first impression was when I walked into the lobby. The smell of chemical perfume was rather pungent, but no worse than any other place that I have been. My room was on the 8th floor. Upon the opening the elevator doors, the smell of stale urine was overpowering it seems to originate from the workout room right next to the elevator. It was like a giant magic stench wave hits you and says Welcome to a dirty locker room inhabited by cave men who don't bathe! Once I made my way to my room, the odor was faintly of mildew covered by chemicals. At least they were trying, I can only imagine that in that environment it's hard to control with the heat and humidity. The bedding was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Service was great. The property needs some work. I'd bet the place has cheap owners and some manager keeps the place running in spite of the tools they are given. Would be a great place if they would invest in some mold/smell remediation.

This Holiday Inn is typical. The rooms were decent, clean and at an affordable price. Unfortunately the parking situation was terribly inconvenient due to sharing space/lot with a restaurant connected to the hotel. When we returned after a basketball game parking was impossible.

The front desk staff were wonderful. Makayla went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was close to the Quarter and other points of interest that I was looking for. My only complaint was the restaurant service and quality of food. To say the service was substandard would be a compliment. It was the absolute worst service I have ever had anywhere. The server rarely checked on our needs, was late getting us our drinks, food and check. She was frequently forgetting to bring what we requested yet she only had one other table besides ours. If you stay at the hotel be sure to patronize a different restaurant.

The hotel was great but i wish they had a shuttle to the festival, but they did try very hard to get us a taxi.

Dear Anonymous Thank You for sharing your feedback with us. I'm glad that we were able to accomodate your needs as having hotel so close to the airport. That actually downtown was a quick ride into the city. I apologize that we didn't explain that we only had one pool and it was an out door pool opening up at 7:00 am and closing down at 10:00 pm every night..

I do apologize for the concerns you have mentioned above. We have made some soft renovations this year that include all new carpet in every room and all, new 50 inch flat screens, new bedding, new pillows and all new lobby furniture. I will share your comments with our Housekeeping Director so we can pinpoint the room you stayed in and the housekeeper designated to your room. We appreciate the feedback
