Beautiful Quiet Space in Residential New Orleans
Our elegant Lakeview home features everything you need for your family or group to spread out and relax! Located about a 10-minute drive from the French Quarter and CBD, this is the perfect base to enjoy New Orleans in peace while having easy access to all the city offers. Our neighborhood is also full of wonderful locally owned shops and restaurants so you can truly experience what it's like to live in the big easy! Be sure to check out New Orleans Food and Spirits, a famous Cajun restaurant!
Guests enter through the foyer which leads into a full kitchen featuring top-of-the-line appliances and everything you'd need to prepare a meal. Our home has an open floor plan and the kitchen sits just next to the dining table, sitting area, and living room. We also have a large office with a desk and computer monitor making it a perfect spot to work from "home". The three bedrooms are upstairs as well as a shared bathroom connecting two of the rooms. The master bedroom features a beautiful and expansive en suite bathroom.
Guest will have access to the entire home, backyard, and the circle driveway located in front of the home!

The lakefront, an intersection of sky, shore and water, is dotted with seafood restaurants, sailboats and marinas. This neighborhood is nestled beside City Park, so you can wander the paths of the Besthoff Sculpture Garden, part of the New Orleans Museum of Art, or visit Storyland, a beloved family amusement park. Lakeview’s Harrison Avenue bustles with an assortment of stylish stores and restaurants featuring fare from burgers to burritos. The mood is carefree and casual, friendly, fun and pure New Orleans.

Place was centrally located, safe area, clean, hvac worked great, TV nice and overall easy to use, washer and dryer very nice and overall place very nice. Would stay there again. Negatives: garbage disposal not working, kitchen drain got plugged, towel rack in half bath broken and would not hang on wall, dishwasher worked but would not dry dishes, thermostats complicated to use. The property is a wonderful location for us. It was close to Lake Pontchartrain and not very far from the French Quarter (just a short Uber ride). The property is well maintained, clean, spacious, and perfect if you have to do some working remotely. The host was very attentive by answering questions quickly, being flexible with arrival time, and providing tips for enjoying New Orleans. We plan to return and hopefully use this property again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again in the future! The property was exactly as described and perfect for our large family. The home was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. There were several very thoughtful amenities included that we don't always see in rentals. The area is such a great neighborhood and we enjoyed beignets each morning from Cafe du Monde in City Park. We felt safe and enjoyed being near so many key areas. There is one neighborhood street that really needs to be repaired/rebuilt but we were able to use the other local streets and avoid it completely. New Orleans streets might be as much a part of the experience as the food! The host was so communicative and responsive and made everything so simple. Such a great experience and property!

What a wonderful house.
Thus house is beautiful inside and outside. The master bedroom is spacious and the master bathroom is just as spacious. The downstairs living are is extremely nice and spacious. Would definitely stay at this house again if in New Orleans.
Everything was great except trying to figure out how to operate the thermostats. Instructions would have been very helpful.

Great property, highly recommend
This property is in a great location about 10 minutes from the French Quarter. The property itself is great and there are plenty of restaurants and bars near by. I highly recommend this for your stay in NOLA if you are looking for something outside of the Quarter.
