Really convenient to everything. Nice with hidden inner courtyard and great breakfast included.

This hotel has a hard time to keep up with the standard it would like to be at. The air conditioning in our room was noisy and never stops running, hard to sleep without earplugs! Breakfast is somewhat poor sad and boring. Sleepy staff at breakfast. Overall so so hotel, well overrated (as many are).

we really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Mazarin. the rooms were very comfortable. the complimentary breakfast was good, (nothing special). the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the location was perfect. right off of Bourbon street. easy walking to most anywhere. This hotel will be my first selection the next time i am in New Orleans.

Great location in the French Qt. Wonderful breakfast, great place to stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Mazarin at the beginning of November. Our room faced the back of the building and was quiet. There were wedding receptions held in the courtyard during the day, and you could hear the music, but since it was during the day, it didn’t interfere with our sleep. By the way, the courtyard is a beautiful setting for a wedding. The hotel is perfectly situated near everything and has a nice breakfast. Everything was clean and well maintained. We loved the atmosphere and would stay here again.

It rained 8 inches the day of our arrival, so traffic and parking were a nightmare. The hotel and staff were top notch, friendly, and helpful with everything from parking to finding local eateries and things to do. Definite return.

Janet the concierge was the best part ofthe hotel.

We chose the Mazarin for value & location. The online reviews were favorable, compared to others in its class and Orbitz gave us a travel/hotel package that fit our budget. Location was excellent, off Bourbon and the noise, half a block from the shops on Rue Royal, close to transportation, Ealing distance from many points of interest. A fine, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, nice rooms, clean, quiet. We will stay there again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lot of charm and the room was beautiful. It is just steps from Bourbon or Royal. Easy walking distance to Jackson Square. Bourbon does get loud at night. If your in a room close to Bourbon you will hear the noise.

From the moment I walked into the Mazarin with my 27 year old daughter, I felt warmly received by both the staff at the desk and a charming man in the reception area. I LOVED the relaxing, fountain in the courtyard and made frequent visits throughout our stay. It was so convenient to everything and NOT noisy even though it is close to Bourbon. The breakfasts were excellent. I would highly recommend this wonderful landmark. The concierge was very helpful. My daughter really loved the hotel as well. She is working in an architectural firm and loved the hotel and New Orleans. we loved the carriage ride, travelling on the trolley to see the architecture and going to Mass at the oldest Catholic Cathedral in the United States. Go see Doreen Ketchen wail on the clarinet. I bought both of her CDS, and my daughter bought me a print of her which she graciously signed. I also loved seeing two weddings parade through the street and the St. Patty's antics on Bourbon street! The people of New Orleans are truly so hospitable!!!!

The hotel was clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was included was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Just spent four nights in NO at Mazarin. Good breakfast, super staff and wonderful wine bar. Block off Bourbon St. but no noise. Rooms fairly large and well- appointed. Great place for a couple.

Close to Bourbon Street, but removed enough to be quiet. Staff was great, particularly Janet the concierge! The bar in the hotel has a lot of character. Would stay here again!

Booked this hotel for the courtyard. Courtyard covered by industrial tarp the entire stay. View from room was of this tarp, rising like a fleemarket circus tent, directly outside our door. We should have stayed elsewhere. In fairness, we didn't ask to be relocated as the second floor was actually under the tarp (we were on the fourth) giving it a view of the courtyard. It is possible management would have moved us.

This was the first of three hotels we stayed at during our week of travel for fun and our daughter's wedding. Although the room was small it was comfortable and met our needs; the only thing missing was a hair dryer. I was impressed with how friendly and helpful the hotel staff were. I thought we might hear a lot of noise at night since the hotel was so close to Bourbon Street but it was pretty quiet. The breakfast selection was better than other hotels I've stayed at and tasty too. I would stay here again for sure!

Our room was nice but no view because it was near a back courtyard, but it was quiet. The hotel is nice but the lobby is very small so there isn't much space for guests to sit and relax other than in the room. They do have a courtyard but they had weddings on two of the three nights we stayed there so we couldn't use it. They have a wine bar but it doesn't open until 4 pm and it's very pricey. Also they didn't have any full bodied red wines, which we prefer. The hotel also charges you $50 per day for "possible" room charges at the bar. Credits will follow within a week of checkout. That was odd. The best part of our stay was their full breakfast. The food was good, lots of choices and the breakfast staff was excellent. Overall this hotel was good but it wasn't special.

It was just what I was looking for. Located in the French Quarters betwen Royal and Bourbon Sts. The staff were all excellent. Loved the garden area for breakfast, very relaxing. The room was a lttle small but well appointed and we did not hang out there anyway. l would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Mazarin was great, I don't think I realize how extremely close to bouton street it is, but, it's literally out the main door turn left and there it is. It was awesome. Staff at the hotel was amazing. The continental breakfast, by far, one of the best continental breakfast I have had. My only downside was the room being clean. We tried to leave so they could do it, but, it was way too hot, to stay out all day. Our room wasn't cleaned one of the 3 nights we were there. It didn't stop us from having fun or enjoying the hotel. Just unsightly for the bathroom. All in all we had a great time would definitely recommend any first timer here!

I absolutely loved Hotel Mazarin. It had the charm I was looking for and was very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. The breakfast buffet was substantial- a full meal, not just a snack. They don't nickle and dime you. Breakfast was included and the wi if was free and reliable. The drink coupons were appreciated and the special at Patrick's Bar Vin made the stay extra pleasant. I'm going to miss breakfast in the courtyard!

We were pleased from the moment we stepped into this wonderful hotel. The doorman was very pleasant and the front desk and concierge were both very helpful. The only confusion on our checkin involved the valet parking - you have to park your car across the street from the hotel and go in to the front desk and request someone come up to valet park your car. Our room was a petite king. It was wonderful. Along a nice courtyard, all marble floors, VERY comfortable bed and perfectly clean. Very good value for the money. The breakfast buffet was first class with a good variety of items.
