A comfortable place to stay 15 minutes away from the French Quarters or a ferry ride to downtown New Orleans. In the heart of Algiers where there are several places that serve local cuisines. This home is located near the parade route for one of New Orleans' well-known parades called the Nomtoc Parade. This property 2 boasts off street parking in or outside of the privacy gate, security lights at night, wifi, washer and dryer, full kitchen, breakfast nook, and living room.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and an ironing board.

The space was exactly what we were looking for as a family of 3. We loved that the place came with a closed in yard so that our 1 year old could play outside. Our only preference would be a bigger bed/mattress. We slept decent, this one was just a bit smaller than we are used to at home. However, the pictures and description of everything were accurate. We were in a quiet neighborhood, even during the 4th of July weekend. We never had any reason to feel unsafe, but we did utilize the locks on both doors and windows just in case. There are also cameras on the outside of the house that made us feel at little more at ease. The location was maybe a 5 minute drive to the where the ferry is. You can find free parking on the side of the street as well. Host was quick to communicate and to fix any issues we had during our stay. If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive place to stay with all the amenities you would need in a quiet neighborhood, this is it.
